‘Captain Marvel’ filming on location in Los Angeles this weekend

Captain Marvel is continuing to film in Los Angeles, before moving to the New Orleans area next month, and fans have been clamoring for details about the film, especially after the recent success of Infinity War. The movie stars Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson as a younger, two-eyed Nick Fury.

The most recent photos from the set show Larson on top a train, preparing for battle, in Los Angeles.

The stand-alone Captain Marvel movie is expected to be released next year, before the next Infinity War film. And, though Larson wasn’t in Infinity War, Captain Marvel is still expected to have ties to Avengers 4.

This weekend, Captain Marvel, which is using the working title Open World, will be filming around Temple St and Grand Ave in Los Angeles on May 5 and May 6 from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

According to the filming permit, the scenes they are filming will include running through Civic Center Station and precision driving scenes.
