The new ABC drama, Resurrection, will be filming in the Newton County, Georgia area from July 22nd until mid-October.
The show focuses on an 8-year-old boy named Jacob who wakes up in a rice patty in China and doesn’t know how he got there. Eventually it’s discovered that he comes from a town in Missouri, and he supposedly died around 30 years ago. As the story unfolds, we will watch as Jacob and his family and friends grapple with what has happened and why.
Extras casting is being handled by Cynthia Stillwell Casting. They are looking for a wide variety of people to be extras for the town, including students, doctors, mothers and fathers. They encourage families to apply as well as individuals. Because of the age of the main character, they are particularly looking for children who are 7 and 8 years old, including other elementary school-aged children and teenagers. Children will have to be accompanied by a parent.
To apply, email [email protected] a recent photograph (head shot or candid), your name, age, size, height, weight, place of residence, and telephone number.
They are also looking for experienced drivers who can use their own cars in scenes. You can attach a picture of your vehicle with your application.
