The new Dracula film starring Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia!), Luke Evans (The Hobbit, The Fast & Furious 6), and Sarah Gadon (Cosmopolis), will explore the origins of Dracula, using vampire mythology with the true story of Prince Vlad the Impaler. This new film depicts Dracula as a flawed hero with a tragic love story set in a time of war and magic.
Universal Pictures has put out an urgent casting call for extras who are based in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland for the movie. They are looking for men above the age of 18 of all ethnicities who are "olive/swarthy skinned" but has also explicitly asked for "no fake tans". The extras will appear as a part of the "Ottoman Army" and will be featured in "exciting action and battle sequences".
All extras will be paid for their work and casting will begin this week and extras may be called up from now until November.
