Since Owen Wilson began filming his latest movie You Are Here in Winston-Salem, N.C. a few weeks ago, there's been a lot of buzz about what he's been doing and where he's been going.
We've had several tipsters report Owen sightings in the past few weeks, here are a few:
Several readers spotted Owen at the Greek Festival in Winston-Salem on May 18.
On May 21, Wilson filmed a scene with Zach Galifianakis in Walkertown, NC. In the scene Zach was sitting in a red Chrysler convertible in a brown suit when Owen runs up and places two white items on a nearby dumpster, jumps in the car, then races off.
As or where you can see them filming next, one of our Twitter followers, @Kristian_16, has shared some more information about their current filming location in Siloam. She told us, "We went with a group of 5 and the security immediately made us leave. Went back with just 3 and met the home owner. [Security] said at night they aren't as strict." She also described the location as being on Siloam Road, behind a Quaker Church.
George told us the house they are filming in is an old white two story house. He added that Atkinson Road is also closed off to everyone except people that live there.
Anther readers, Norgan, told us, "They'll be filming at WTVI in Charlotte this summer for up to a month. Weiner has been in WTVI several times, and PAs have been around the studio for the past two months measuring offices, taking lighting samples, etc."
In the photo above, sent to us by @BrianNealNews, "Owen Wilson spent some time in the @wxii newsroom in preparation for a weatherman role in his new movie", which seems to explain what they will be filming at WTVI too.
