‘Killing Season’ shoot moves to Douglas County, GA tomorrow

As we reported, Killing Season is wrapping up this week in Rabun County, GA, where they have been filming at at the Tallulah Gorge State Park and Black Rock Mountain State Park, and now we’ve learned where they’ll be filming next.

Thanks to one of our readers, Richard, we’ve learned that they will be moving to the Sweetwater Creek State Park in Douglas County, GA tomorrow and will continue shooting at that location until Feb. 13.

The movie, which stars Robert De Niro and John Travolta, follows a military veteran (De Niro) living in a remote mountain cabin when he is paid a visit by by a man (Travolta) who turns out to be a former Serbian soldier looking for revenge.

UPDATE: Filming actually starts on 2.4, may be moving/setting up on 2.3.

  2. I believe you are right about them setting up today, because we saw trucks with equipment on them pulling in to this back area of the park earlier. The nature trails, picnic areas and visitors center are all closed until the filming wraps up.

  3. Is there any way to get in the park at all – I have got to try to get a picture of my Daughter with Travolta, she is in love with the guy (?) He sent her an autographed photo when on her 13 birtday. We will be driving from Athens on Sat. am. Does anyone have any idea where he is staying or hangs out – I have to try…After all Dads will do anything for their little girls…THANKS

  4. We want to come hang out is there anyone being allowed to watch and see them over weekend? We are very peaceful just want a glimspe of the stars.
