Movie and TV Filming Locations for October 16, 2009

Weekend Locations:

The project once known as Wichita (now Knight and Day), starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, is filming on Rutherford Avenue in Charlestown, MA onSaturday 10.17 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Due Date, starring Robert Downey Jr, resumes filming on US 70 on Saturday, 10.17 near Las Cruces through 10.25.

The Adjustment Bureau is filming at 11 Madison Ave @ 23rd/24th St, NY on Saturday, 10.17. (Thanks Anon, Matthew and Susing!)

The Adjustment Bureau is filming at Staple St and Jay St, NYC on Sunday, 10.18.

The Other Guys is filming at the Marcy Avenue Armory in Brooklyn on Saturday, 10.17 & Sunday, 10.18.

The Other Guys signs spotted on 50th St and 51st St between Madison and Park Ave for Saturday, 10.17 & Sunday 10.18. (Thanks Toma!) UPDATE: Signs also spotted on Park and 41st for Saturday, 10.17. (Thanks Erin!)

Wall Street 2 is filming in the same area Saturday 10.17, W 21st and 5th. Film crews were spotted at Credit Suisse (24th between Madison/Park) setting up for Saturday morning. Was reported as The Other Guys, but may be Wall Street 2 (?). (Thanks Lars-Erik!)

UPDATES:

Wall Street 2 is filming near William St & Wall St, NYC on 10.18. (Thanks Chris!)

Permit signs for something being produced by RADICAL MEDIA were spotted up and down 53rd St between Broadway & 8th Ave in NYC (near The Roseland) and on 8th Ave between 53rd & 54th for Sun 10.18, Mon 10.19th, and Tues 10.20 from 6am-10pm. (Thanks Deanna!)

Friday:

New York City:

Wall Street 2, starring Shia Lebeouf, is filming around W 21st and 5th.

White Collar, a new USA series,is filming around W 15th between 9th and 10th in NYC.

The Other Guys, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, is filming around 21st St and Park Ave and on Park Ave between 41st and 42nd again,7am-midnight. (Thanks Savash, Joanna & Lili!) The Other Guys is also filming at the Marcy Armory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn today, Saturday and Sunday. (Thanks Hector!)

Gossip Girl signs were spotted on 55th bw 1st and 2nd. (Thanks Beth!!) Upd: I also heard they are filming in studio.

Sex and the City 2 is filming a red carpet scene at the Zeigfeld.  Miley Cyrus and Penelope Cruz are both rumored to be in attendance. Signs were spotted at 55th/56th between 6th and 7th, just a couple blocks from the theater. Update: Check out the new post for SATC2 today, I have several updates, looks like Penelope is out and the shoot will take place at night.  (Thanks Sue, Stephen & Toma!)

L & Os:

Law and Order: Criminal Intent: I originally heard they would be filming on Staten Island but I also heard (from a very reliable source) that they would be filming at Chelsea Piers.

Law and Order: SVU is filming in studio (N. Bergen, NJ).

Law and Order (the mothership) is filming at William St @ Gold St, NYC.

Other:

There is an Untitled Project filming at 5th St from Main St – Wall St, on Main St from 4th St – 5th St and at 451 S Main St in Los Angeles. (Production company is HSI Productions- they mostly do commercials)

You Don’t Know Jack, starring Al Pacino, is filming at the Oakland Circuit courthouse off Telegraph Road in Pontiac, MI.

Red Dawn is filming on Griswold between State and Michigan, and the north half of Michigan from Woodward to Shelby in Detroit.

Battle: Los Angeles is filming on Kalurah Street, Baton Rouge, LA through tomorrow.

The Conspirator, directed by Robert Redford & starring James McAvoy, starring is filming at The Owens-Thomas in Savannah, GA. (I’m not 100% positive they are still here.)

The A-Team, starring Bradley Cooper, is filming in Surrey, B.C. at 192 St & 32 Ave. (Thanks Nicole and Artbuff!) (I’m not 100% positive they are still at this location either.)

On Location Filming News for September 25th, 2009

Russell Crowe is Pittsburgh bound. The Academy Award winning actor will begin production on The Next Three Days with director Paul Haggis in the next couple of weeks. Crowe stars as a husband whose life is turned upside down when his wife is accused of murder. The movie is expected to wrap by Christmas.

Little Fockers begins filming in Chicago on October 4.Though its unclear whether Dustin Hoffman will be in the latest ‘Fockers’ film, we know he was in Montreal earlier this month working on Barney’s Version with Paul Giamatti. The movie, based on the iconic book, is also expected to film in NYC at some point this fall.

Julia Roberts has landed in India to film the next phase of Eat, Pray, Love. Reportedly, she will be shooting at the Ashram Harimandir, spread over 25 acres in Pataudi, 42 kilometers from Delhi’s IGI airport. The Pretty Woman star will be staying at the Pataudi palace and will be filmed taking yoga classes from the yoga gurus at the Yoga and Meditation Sthal, a two bedroom house with 28 pillars. Meanwhile, Julia’s good friend George Clooney is filming a new movie, called The American aka A Very Private Gentleman, in his adopted home country of Italy.

EG Productions is looking for extras for the new Robert Downey Jr film, Due Date, which begins filming in New Mexico in a few weeks. Casting directors are also looking for extras in Savannah for Robert Redford’s new movie, The Conspirator.

Finally, it looks like You Don’t Know Jack, which has been filming in NYC, will film exterior shots in Michigan next month.

Filming Locations for September 8, 2009

Sex and the City 2 is filming around 58th Street between 6th and 7th Ave, signs also spotted on 59th between 5th and Madison in NYC too.They will be at this location tomorrow too. (Thanks NYCAnon, Jen & Dash!)

30 Rock is filming near W 26th and Broadway, NYC. Update: filming this afternoon on 26th between 5th and 6th. (Thanks Danny!)

You Don’t Know Jack, starring Al Pacino, might be filming on Ave U between Nostrand and Coleman in Brooklyn. Filming spotted over the weekend, we’re not sure if they are still there or not. If anyone checks it out, let us know! (Thanks Correy!) Update: Might be filming around Clinton and Pierrepont Streets, Brooklyn today too/instead. (Thanks Carrie!)

The Oprah Winfrey Show is filming their season kick off with the Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Ohio Street in Chicago.

Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page, is filming at 617 W. 7th St, Los Angeles.

The Town, starring Ben Affleck and Blake Lively, is filming at Neptune Oyster located at 63 Salem St in the North End (of Boston). (Thanks @LoadedGun!)

You Don’t Know Jack with Al Pacino is filming in Brooklyn, on Coyle St. and Avenue U through 9.4. (Thanks Michele!) You Don’t Know Jack signs also posted around 56th st and 9th Ave in Manhattan. (Thanks Jerome!)

Gossip Girl is filming at The Gates again today.

White Collar, a new USA series featuring Tiffani Thiessen, is filming on 49th St between 5th and 6th today and tomorrow. (Thanks Giulia!)

Unstoppable starring Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, and Denzel Washington, signs spotted outside of the Ritz Battery Park, NYC. (Thanks Mike!)

Sex and the City 2 will begin filming at 875 3rd Ave this morning. Filming around 81st and Park in the afternoon (shoot starts around 2). Here are the locations for the rest of the week and one for next week too! I also have a ton of pics from yesterday’s shoot that I’ll be posting this afternoon!

Chuck is filming at 506 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles through 6 A.M. tomorrow.

CSI: New York is filming at 433 S Spring St, Los Angeles.

Al Pacino on the NYC Set of ‘You Don’t Know’ Jack in NYC

Toma caught Al Pacino on the set of You Don’t Know Jack at Radio City Music Hall yesterday.(Thanks to Toma for providing the pictures below!)

Pacino plays Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the HBO film which also stars Susan Sarandon and John Goodman. The movie follows Kevorkian’s rise to fame as an assisted-suicide advocate and the legal battles he fought throughout his career over the procedure, including his 1999 conviction for second-degree murder for helping a terminally ill patient kill himself. According to SatelliteTVGuru.net, Sarandon plays Janet Good, a Hemlock Society activist and ally of Kevorkian’s. After she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Good asked Kevorkian to help her end her own life. Goodman plays one of Kevorkian’s colleagues, Neal Nicol.

Untitled Warner Brothers Project (most likely Gossip Girl) signs spotted on 14th St/15th between 8th and 9th Ave, NYC. (Thanks Avel & Denise!) Did you hear there might be a TBL/GG crossover episode? ***Update: they are filming in studio today, they will not be at this location until next week.

The Bounty, starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler,  is filming near 22nd St and 9th, NYC and the  Sleepy Hallow Country Club again. (Thanks to Anon!!)

The Forgotten is filming at 324 Madeline Dr, Pasadena, CA.

Grown Ups, starring Adam Sandler, is filming at the Boston YMCA, 316 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA.

Going The Distance, starring Drew Barrymore, is filming tonight around Park Ave and 38th St, NYC. (Thanks Sam!) Update: The exact filming location is the famous Docks Resturant on 3rd Ave betweenn 40th & 41st Streets. (Thanks Sabrina!)

Battle: Los Angeles will be filming on the northern most tip of I-49, where traffic exits onto Murphy Street, in Shreveport, LA for five weeks.

The Good Wife, a new series starring Chris Noth, will be filming on John St & Dutch St, NYC on 8.24. (Thanks Shauna!) Signs also spotted on John Street between Broadway and William for Monday. (Thanks Andrea!)

Signs for “Untitled WB Project” (most likely Gossip Girl) in Gramercy Park, filming 8.24 & 8.25. (Thanks Sarah!) Update: Signs for an untitled project also spotted near Chelsea Market (9th Ave. between 15-16th) for 8.26 too. (Thanks Sally!)

The Bounty is filming at 31th ave and 14th street in Astoria on 8. 24. (Thanks Dave!)

Three Rivers is filming at 220 S Spring St, Los Angeles on 8.24, 1:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

NCIS LA is filming on the 7000 block of Ocean Boulevard, Los Angeles on 8.25. The scene will include a faux foot chase, some simulated gunfire and an exploding backpack in the street.

One Tree Hill is filming a scene on the Causeway Drive bridge over Banks Channel in Wrightsville Beach from 6 to 11 a.m., 8.31. In the scene a character is going to jump off the bridge.

Sex and the City 2 will be filming in the atrium on the 25th floor of Hogan and Hartson’s offices at 875 Third Ave, NYC on 9.2. The law offices will be transformed into Mr. Big’s on-screen office! (Thanks to Megan for the link!)

Oliver’s Arrow (Inception) is filming at 1745 E 7th St, Los Angeles on 9.3, 9.4 & 9.09.09 – 9.11.09.Right now, they’re filming in Paris.
