Hugh Jackman received the honor of putting his Hand and Footprints  in cement outside Mann’s Chinese Theater yesterday. I Am Not A Stalker got some great shots of the ceremony.

There are more details available about the Salt shoot in Albany. It looks like they will be filming in New York’s capital for two weeks, most filming will take place on the weekends.

Coachella took place over the weekend in Indio, CA. The music fest was headlined by Paul McCartney, The Killers, and The Cure. The festival always attracts A-List celebs and this year was no exception. Jake and Reese, Ann Hathaway, and Kirsten Dunst were all in attendance. If you’re a celeb stalker, be sure to mark your calendar’s for next year event!

4.4.09 Filming News Wrap-Up: Hugh Jackman Needs Your Help, SATC2 Sets a Date, and More!

Hugh Jackman is letting the fans decide where they want him to host the X Men Origins: Wolverine Premiere.

This incident (and ones like it) with Jamie Foxx is the only thing that makes me nervous about running OLV!

New York City officials have given the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn a three-month reprieve from film and television shoots after residents complained that production crews had turned their community into a soundstage.

The Expendables, starring Sly Stallone, begins filming in Brazil on Monday while another international production was just forced to shut down its filming in a Mexican coastal town after producers of the film, about the murder of a cocaine smuggler, starring Eva Mendes, Josh Hartnett, and Sir Ben Kingsley, received death threats from a drug cartel.

Liam Neeson completed his work on Chloe in Toronto last week.

Iron Man 2 begins filming in L.A. on Monday. Weeds begins filming season 5 in L.A. on Tuesday. (If you have locations for either, please send us a tip!)

One Tree Hill filmed a scene at a Charlotte Bobcats’ game last week. (spoiler below)

“The lights were dimmed at halftime to film a scene for the television show “One Tree Hill.” Character Nathan Scott was introduced as a Bobcats starter — seven times — to cheers from the crowd.”

An old house near Vancouver was turned into a movie set this week, could it be New Moon or The Cabin in the Woods (Joss Whedon’s new horror flick)?

The Washington Post discovers 24 isn’t exactly accurate in its depiction of Washington D.C.

There is a casting call this Sunday in Pittsburgh for extras for the new Nick Nolte movie, Warrior, which will film in PA this summer.

Great news for New Yorkers! The tax incentive program for filmmakers has been extended (temporarily anyway).

Just in case it wasn’t clear when the stars of Lipstick Jungle starting filming new pilots, Brooke Shields confirms the show is dead. But, there is a great compensation prize, Sex and the City 2 will be filming this summer (hopefully in the NYC) and it will be in theaters on May 20, 2010!

Finally, Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl are filming a new movie, Five Killers, in Nice, France. Meanwhile, Johnny Dep has been filming The Rum Diary, based on late pal Hunter S. Thompson’s novel, in Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest.

Gossip Girl is filming at 74th and Madison in NYC. (Thanks Tiffani!)

Sympathy for Delicious is filming at W. 6th St from Santa Fe Ave – East to end in Los Angeles.

Law Abiding Citizen is filming at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility (500 Cheyney Road ) in Thornton, Pennsylvania.

Numbers is filming at 1200 California Blvd, Pasadena, CA.

UPDATES:

Prison Break is filming around W College St and N Alameda St in Los Angeles.

NCIS is filming around W Potrero Rd and Thorton Ranch Rd, West Lake Village, CA.

(a note on NCIS and PB-these might not be exact locations but rather where the crew reports so you may have to drive around a bit to find the exact location-thanks to our anonymous tipsters!)

X-Men Origin: Wolverine is filming in New Orleans today.

JONAS BROTHERS TO UNVEIL THEIR WAX FIGURES AT MADAME TUSSAUDS NEW YORK. Thursday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd St. (between 7th and 8th Aves.) (Thanks Big E!) Also, The Jonas Brothers will be in NYC all weekend, we got another tip that they usually stay at Trump Tower and they will be performing on SNL Saturday night, they may also be appearing on Today Show and MTV.
