7.8.08 Filming Locations

Ugly Betty is filming in Brooklyn:

New Dock St. between Water St. and East River.
Water St. between Dock and Main Sts.
Dock St. between Water and Front Sts.
Front St. between Dock and Main Sts.
York St. between Washington and Front Sts.

Fringe is filming in the vicinity of Petracca Pl and 20th Ave in Whitestone, Queens, NY. Yesterday, they were filming in Brooklyn (as we reported), here a few pictures.

Also, looks like When in Rome might be spending one more night at City Hall in NYC. We’ll keep you posted if we get any details! UPDATE: We just heard from someone on the production, they did wrap up the wedding scene that was filming near City Hall. We’ll let you know if we hear about any more locations!

Finally, a couple people have been asking about GG, we heard they might be filming in studio today.

UPDATE: I Hate Valentine’s Day is filming on Prospect Park West in Brooklyn. Filming in Brooklyn has set pics from yesterday’s shoot at this same location.

ANOTHER UPDATE: My One and Only is filming on N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

7.7.08 Filming Locations

Fringe is filming in the PRATT Chemistry Building in Brooklyn. (Thanks to Josh!!)
Also, I just want to say I am so excited about the return of Pacey, um, I mean Joshua Jackson!

Law and Order: Criminal Intent is filming near the Knitting Factory, 74 Leonard St in Manhattan. (Thanks Katie!!)

Gossip Girl is filming in Long Island again, the “base camp” is the Roslyn Claremont Hotel again.

When in Rome is filming outside of City Hall in NYC tonight.

Entourage is filming at 108 W 2nd St in Los Angeles.

The Soloist is filming at 448 S Hill St in Los Angeles.

Californication is filming at 919 S. Grand Ave in Los Angeles.

When in Rome is filming at the same location again today (near the front of City Hall in NYC).

Law and Order: Criminal Intent is filming in Queens near 47th and Grand.

A Fan Report from the Set of “When in Rome” w/ Josh Duhamel

One of our readers, Alex, was lucky enough to meet Josh Duhamel on the set of When in Rome yesterday! She sent us her full report and a super cute picture!  Check it out below:

I was at the When in Rome filming last night. My mom and I could not find a parking spot we drove around the set for about 45 minutes. We saw Kristen Bell getting into a van. We saw all of the extras in dressy clothes and all the trailers. Around 9:30 we parked in a no parking zone on Worth and Broadway. About 10 minutes later I see a tall guy with a white t-shirt crossing the street. And it was Josh Duhamel, and he didn’t have anyone with him he was all by himself. And no on else on the street noticed him. I got out of the car and started talking to him about the filming in Rome and Transformers. He was so nice and fun. We told him that we were huge fans and then I got a picture taken with him!! He was very cool.

Isn’t it great to hear about another down to earth celeb? Thanks Alex for sharing!

6.12.08 Locations and News (sorry so late)

When in Rome is still filming near City Hall. As far as we know,this is a night shoot.

Motherhood is filming on Hudson and Christopher. (A couple of our readers met Uma at this location yesterday, check it out on Tiffany’s blog.)

This looks fun, Wabasha, Minnesota hosts a Grumpy Old Men Festival each February in the same locations where the movie was shot. It’s not too early to start planning your travels for next year.

UPDATE @ 5 PM FYI: We just received the following tip in a comment from LJ: “The Taking of Pelham 123 is filming in Brooklyn on McDonald Ave starting from Ave C & going toward Greenwood Cemetary which is the crew parking”. Thanks LJ!!!
