Brothers & Sisters: Filming at the Leo Carillo State Beach, 35000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA through Wednesday, 10.28.

Christmas in Beverly Hills: Filming at 1401 Oak Knoll Av S, Pasadena, CA.

What’s Wrong With Virginia?: Filming in South Haven, MI.

New Casting Calls in Michigan and New Mexico

A new movie is casting children in the Los Alamos, Taos and Albuquerque, NM areas. “Let Me In”, starring Kodi Smit-McPhee (”The Road”) and Chole Moretz from (”500 Days of Summer”), is looking for children ages 8 to 18 in Los Alamos, Taos and Albuquerque. “Let Me In” is a story about a bullied young boy who befriends a young female vampire who lives in secrecy with her guardian. The film is directed by Matt Reeves who also irected “Cloverfield.” You can register with Elizabeth Gabel online at www.egcasting.com or call 505-967-9533.

People are also needed to create a crowd scene for the film “What’s Wrong With Virginia?” starring Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, Emma Roberts, Amy Madigan and Harrison Gilbertson.The film is written and directed by Dustin Lance Black, the Academy Award-Winning screenwriter of “Milk,” and is being produced by TicTock Studios of Holland. Rather than using a limited number of extras for this scene, the opportunity is open to anyone interested in participating. Filming will take place in a beach boardwalk setting in South Haven, Michigan, on October 26, weather permitting. You can register here.

Filming Locations for October 9th-11th, 2009

WEEKEND LOCATIONS:

The project once known as Wichita, starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, is filming on Rutherford Avenue in Charlestown, MA on Saturday 10.10 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m & Sunday, 10.11 from 6 a.m to 1 p.m. Upd: Wichita is also filming Woburn sometime this weekend.

Wall Street 2 (with Shia Lebeouf) is filming at Fordham University (Southern Blvd and Fordham Rd, Bronx, NY) on 10.10 and 10.11. Definitely filming at Fordham on Sunday too. (Thanks to Anon, Bulbarosa & Alice!) Upd: Signs also spotted at53rd street between 2nd and 3rd Ave for Sunday. (Thanks Larry!)

Signs for The Other Guys (Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell) posted at Wall St and Water St & Water Street and Hanover Square, NYC for Saturday  10.10 and Sunday 10.11. (Thanks!) FYI: I got an update that this location may be for Sunday only. If anyone check it out and can confirm, please leave a note below, thanks! Upd: They are filming at 135 Jacques Ave, Staten Island, NY tonight (after 6) too. (Thanks Det. Movie Buff and Anon!)

The Adjustment Bureau (Matt Damon and Emily Blunt)  is filming at Worth and Centre St on Saturday 10.10. Signs were also spotted on Leonard St between Broadway and Church. (Thanks Sarah Beth!)

The Adjustment Bureau is filming at the New York Public Library (5th and 41st) on Sunday 10.11 and Monday 10.12.

Jared Leto’s band, 30 Seconds to Mars, is filming a video Under 6th Bridge, Santa Fe Ave – LA River, on Upper Grand Ave, 2nd St. – Hope Pl & Lower Grand Ave, GTK Way – 4th St, Los Angeles on 10.11, 5:30 P.M. – 6:30 A.M.

Something called The Ride is filming at Upper Grand Ave, 2nd St. – Hope Pl, Lower Grand Ave, GTK Way – 4th St. & 2nd St., Figueroa St. – Hill St, Los Angeles on 10.11, night shoot.

Update: We got a tip that SATC2 is filming around Broadway and 64th tonight (Sunday)…but I also heard tomorrow they are filming at 63rd and Broadway for sure so I’m not sure if the signs was to move cars today & film tomorrow. (Thanks Meagan!)

BOSTON:

The Town, starring Ben Affleck, is filming on Foster Street, Boston, 6 a.m.- 8 p.m.

NEW YORK CITY:

Wall Street 2 signs spotted around W 25th and 8th, NYC. Signs also spotted near 2nd Ave and 50th. (Thanks Terry and Anon!)

The Other Guys signs spotted at  Broome St & Lafayette and on Crosby St and Spring St in SoHo ( 7 a.m.- 10 p.m./12 Mid). (Thanks Amanda Demetrise & lili!) Signs also spotted near Columbus Circle. (Thanks Anon!) UPDATE: We had a report that it is actually Wall St 2 filming at Columbus Circle today. If anyone can confirm which project is there, please leave a comment below, thanks!

How To Make It In America is filming around Greenpoint Ave and N. Henry in Brooklyn.

Nurse Jackie spotted at 8th Ave and 22nd St, NYC yesterday, may be back today. **I also heard they would be filming at the bar this afternoon which I believe is Kelly’s Bar, 31-04 Crescent St in Astoria.

Damages is filming around 88th and CPW again today.

Law and Order is filming around 24th St and 10th Ave, NYC.

The Beaver is filming in Harrison, NY, near the police department on on North St again today.

Also, something is being filmed on 15th Street between Irving and Union Square. (Thanks Suzanne)

VANCOUVER:

Supernatural is filming in Stanley Park but security is very tight.

Fringe is filming in 200 block of West Hastings St. (Thanks @fringewatch! via@monnibo) Update: They will be filming at the corner of W.Hastings & Cambie, at Victory Square starting around noon until around 6 pm. (Thanks J.D.!)

NEW YORK CITY

The Other Guys, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, is filming in the Utopia and Hillcrest neighborhoods of Queens, near St. John’s University, around 170th St and Goethals Ave. (This location is for sure, Thanks Ben!) They are also filming at (around?) Chelsea Piers.  (Thanks Anon!) Signs also spotted for The Other Guys on Jacques Avenue Staten Island. (Thanks Sadie!) UPDATE: They were spotted at the driving range at Chelsea Piers this morning. (Thanks Renny!)

The Adjustment Bureau, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, is filming at 85 Centre St at Worth St, NYC, night shoot. (Thanks again to Anon!!)

Wall Street 2 is filming at Wall St around Pine, NYC. (Thanks Katie and J!)

Nurse Jackie is filming at Orchard Beach in City Island.

The Good Wife is filming at McGolrick Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  (Thanks Hector!)

Rescue Me is filming on Gates and Downing in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, 5 am to 11 pm. (Thanks Doree!)

Ugly Betty is filming all day on Fifth Ave from 6th to 11th, NYC. (Thanks Sol, Aldelira, Sally, Brian, Felicity, & Dr!)

Law & Order SVU is filming on Lenox Avenue at the Associated Supermarket between 132nd and 133rd St, NYC. (Thanks Lee!) FYI: I did get confirmation that this location is correct. 

Gossip Girl signs have been spotted around Elizabeth Street/Bowery and Grand St in NYC through 10.1. (Thanks Sherry & Gabriella!) I also heard (from a reliable, anonymous source) they will be filming around 10th Ave and 24th in NYC today too.

**MICHIGAN**

What’s Wrong With Virginia? continues filming on Quincy Street in Holland, MI intermittently through 10.12.

Red Dawn 2010 continues filming on Warren and Saginaw Sts in Pontiac, MI until 10.4, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and at the Main Street Pawn Shop, at 20 N. Saginaw through 10.1. They also recently set up an official website for the film where fans and local residents can discuss the production. The movie stars Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise, who was spotted in Detroit this weekend before returning to Boston yesterday.

**KENTUCKY**

Secretariat continues filming at Keeneland Race Track, Lexington, Kentucky today.

**VANCOUVER**

New Movies Filming Soon in Michigan, NYC & Savannah

Robert Redford Will Be Directing ‘The Conspirator’ in Savannah

Robert Redford is heading to Savannah this fall for The Conspirator but not as the movie’s star, instead he will direct actors James McAvoy and Robin Wright Penn in the film. The movie, which is being produced by the American Film Company, is a post-civil war drama and filming is scheduled to begin in mid-October. It follows the trial of Mary Surratt, a woman charged with conspiring to kill Abraham Lincoln. The American Film Company has opened a production office and sound stage in the Savannah area and is currently accepting resumes for local hires via an email hotline: conspiratorasst@gmail.com.

Two New Films Begin Filming in Michigan

Danny Glover will star in Highland Park, a movie whose storyline mirrors the real-life struggle to reopen the McGregor Library in Highland Park, MI which closed in 2002 because the city could not afford to keep it open. The movie will be filmed in various locations around Highland Park later this year.

Jennifer Connelly, Emma Roberts, Amy Madigan and real life husband Ed Harris will also be in Michigan this year for What’s Wrong with Virginia? The movie, written by Dustin Lance Black who won an Oscar last year for Milk,  is about a sheriff (Harris) whose senate bid is jeopardized when his daughter begins to date the son of a psychologically disturbed woman with whom the sheriff is having an affair. The movie begins filming in Holland on September 28th.

Is ‘Spider-Man 4′ Filming in NYC This Winter?

At the premiere of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs Bruce Campbell let it spill that Spider-Man 4 will begin filming in January 2010. According to IMDb.com the preliminary filming locations are Los Angeles and NYC.

There is an extras casting call for What’s Wrong With Virginia?, starring Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris, and  in Holland, MI on Saturday, August 15th.

Let us not forget the Twilight cast aren’t the only hotties filming in Vancouver. Jared Padalecki arrived yesterday to begin filming the next season of Supernatural.

The New York Film Festival has announced this year’s line-up.
