Stephen Moyer, Luis Guzman, Lorna Raver and Brittany Murphy are set to begin filming the thriller, The Caller, in Puerto Rico this week. The movie is about a troubled divorcee who begins to receive mysterious phone calls.

Hi Movie Location Lovers. Brando here for a brand new installment of On Location Vacations’ Movie Locations: In Films Then and Now.
Let’s open with a boom. First, we’re in downtown NYC, where the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel Ventilator Building on Battery Place, north of Battery Park (close to Wall St), works as the HQ of the MIB Department in both Men in Black & Men in Black II. The Building was obviously used as an exterior and will surely be used again if a Men in Black 3 movie goes in production.

Whatever Works
As we all know by now, the first Twilight film was shot in Oregon before the series moved to Vancouver for New Moon and Eclipse. Now, rumors (and they are only rumors at this point) are flying that the Twilight franchise may return to Oregon to shoot the final chapter of the saga, Breaking Dawn.
Lainey Gossip reported the following this morning: “The crews that are working on Eclipse also worked on New Moon. They were booked back to back well in advance, schedules held for both films. My sources tell me exclusively that the crew was informed weeks ago that they had the all clear to book new jobs when Eclipse wraps. The studio will NOT hold them for Breaking Dawn. I’m told that as of press time the intention is to begin production on the fourth and final in September. In Portland.”
It has been no secret that Oregon has campaigned relentlessly to get the franchise back, but it seems unlikely they would move with only one film left to shoot, especially considering Vancouver offers better tax breaks, established sets and crews. IF you can’t make it to Vancouver to see Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart filming Eclipse, you can still see the actual costumes they wore in the Twilight prom scene as they are currently on display at the Planet Hollywood in Times Square. Robert Pattinson Spotted in Vancouver

Oprah and Jay-Z Film in Brooklyn
On Monday, we mentioned Jay-Z was rumored to be filming a segment for The Oprah Show with the talk show queen in Brooklyn. Well, BallerStatus.com is confirming the meeting, saying, “The rapper escorted the billionaire talk show queen to Marcy, and Bed Stuy on Lexington Ave. and Lewis Ave. where he drew up before moving to Marcy as a child.” Jay-Z has been spending in a lot of time in Brooklyn lately. Last week, he filming a commercial (or a video, we’ve heard both) with Spike Lee in Brooklyn too.
Connor Cruise is Poised to Follow in Dad’s Footsteps
We’re sure the Cruise household has been pretty quiet this summer while Katie and Suri are in Melbourne. Now it looks like the house is going to get even quieter as Tom’s son, Connor, is heading to Michigan where he will star in a remake of Red Dawn. You can be in the movie too. There is an open casting call for extras on August 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ridgedale Players Community Theater at 205 W Long Lake Rd. in Troy, MI.
