Today, the Walt Disney Company, Marvel, Netflix and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced plans for Marvel Entertainment to film all of its Netflix original series in New York, beginning with Daredevil this summer.

Hilary Duff is currently in New York City filming the TV Land pilot Younger and over the weekend she made one lucky fan’s dream come true.

While filming at Chelsea Piers, Hilary took time to meet one of her biggest fans, SPC Michael Lynch, a two time combat veteran who spent 15 months in Iraq and 12 months in Afghanistan.

Back on Oct. 18 the cast of Law and Order: SVU filmed several scenes outside 60 Centre St in NYC.

The cast, including Mariska Hargitay, Kelli Giddish, and Raúl Esparza, were all smiles as they joked and laughed between takes.

Lea Michele has been spotted filming scenes for Glee at the St. James Theater, located at W 44th St and 8th Ave in NYC.

The marquee on the theater has been changed to Funny Girl for the shoot.

Today tickets for the inaugural PaleyFest: Made In NY, taking place October 2 – 6, 2013 go on sale to the general public.

The Paley Center for Media and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment are teaming up to bring the legendary PaleyFest (which takes place each Spring in Los Angeles) to New York.

Confirmed panel events include the casts and creators of Orange is the New Black, Elementary, The Americans, Small Empires with Alexis Ohanian, The Outs, and Boardwalk Empire.

“Bringing PaleyFest to New York City after 30 incredibly successful years in LA is a dream realized for the Paley Center and we could find no better partner than the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment to highlight the amazing breadth of media produced in the City,” said Pat Mitchell, President & CEO of The Paley Center for Media. “The Paley Center’s mission to lead and curate the discussion about the importance of media will bring television fans unparalleled access to the hottest, most talked about shows on the air and foster a greater understanding of how these shows are created, cast, and delivered.”

Based on Luc Besson’s wildly popular franchise Taxi, TF1 has begun production on Taxi: Brooklyn South in New York City.

The 12-episode drama series stars Grey’s Anatomy’s Chyler Leigh, and Jacky Ido (Inglorious Basterds). Co-starring are Jennifer Esposito (Blue Bloods), Ally Walker (Profiler), James Colby (Body of Proof), Bill Heck (Person of Interest), Jose Zuniga, and Raul Casso. The Fast and the Furious‘s Gary Scott Thompson will be serving as the showrunner.

The show will focus around Caityln Sullivan (Leigh), a brilliant officer with the Brooklyn Police Station that has been deemed an outcast at the NYPF, who joins forces with Leo Romba (Ido), a happy New York taxi driver, to solve crimes and mysteries around Brooklyn.
