A 15-foot-high wall is being built around a neighborhood in the small town of Senoia, GA, but it’s purpose isn’t as dramatic as it might seem.

The wall, which encloses about 10 homes and has been made to look like concrete, will be used in the upcoming season of The Walking Dead. The area will be yet another safe haven from walkers on the series.

Now that The Walking Dead has wrapped up at Terminus (I don’t want to give away too many spoilers but if you are interested, check out this post) it looks like much of the action will be moving back to the areas around Griffin and Senoia, GA.

On Friday, they shot scenes with Alanna Masterson, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan and others that included gunshots and smoke in Griffin.

Today Tammy Smith Casting posted two new casting calls for The Originals, one for a pregnant woman who will be a photo double for a character on the show and another for men who can appear as warlock assassins. Both scenes are filming on the show’s set in Conyers, GA.

Looking for a PREGNANT WOMAN (18 to 40), CAUCASIAN that is in her first trimester (that is just starting to show a little baby “bump”…can still fit in her normal clothes and only just about to need to start wearing maternity pants.

This is to be a belly photo double for one of our actresses who is pregnant in the storyline and goes to the doctor for an exam and has a sonogram. We will only see the belly being examined.
The actress Caucasian and size 4-6, which is important to match her body size.
Skin tone should not be too pale or too dark/olive or tan. She is an average caucasian skin tone (hair color doesn’t matter)

The town of Covington, Georgia has recently decided to form a committee that would discuss the impact caused by the filming of The Vampire Diaries.

Covington, which is dubbed “The Hollywood of the South,” has been home to the CW hit for 4 seasons. While the town acknowledges the increase in revenue the production brings, residents are still unhappy with the amount of disruption filming can cause.
