One Tree Hill fans have two reasons to look forward to the new fall TV season and start planning their next on location vacation to Chicago.

Last week it was announced that Sophia Bush, who played Brooke Davis on OTH, has joined the cast of Chicago PD, the Chicago Fire spinoff which is just beginning production in the Windy City.

Sophia has signed on to play Erin Lindsay, “a member of the team with an unexpected past.”

Also set to begin filming in Chicago on Sept. 10 is Crisis, a new TV series co-starring James Lafferty who spent nine seasons as Nathan Scott on One Tree Hill.

Denis Leary might be coming back to TV in a new comedy he is co-writing and developing for USA Network.

The plot, called Sirens, is based on a U.K. series about three EMTs “trying to make it through yet another shift. But once they’ve finished saving other people’s lives, they need to salvage their own.”

The pilot is set in Chicago and will be shot on locations throughout the city in late October. If the show is picked up, the entire series will likely be filmed in Chicago as well.

If you spot Sirens filming in Chicago, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
