The Tribeca Film Festival announced today that The Avengers will close the fest on April 28.

The festival said this year’s event will “celebrate everyday heroes from police agencies, fire departments, first responders and various branches of the U.S. military,” who will also be invited to the premiere.

The Tribeca Film Festival premiere will also serve as the movie’s New York premiere. It will premiere in L.A., at the El Capitan Theatre, on April 11.

Orlando told me to take some pics with him early in the night because he was going to get wasted and didn’t want to have any ugly drunk photos out there.”
