According to Cherrix Casting , The Vampire Diaries is looking for extras to work as graduates, teachers, parents, siblings, etc on Wednesday, April 17th in Monroe, GA. Ages 18-65 are all needed but you must live within driving distance (carpooling is encouraged).
If available, email recent photo, including age, phone, height, weight, all clothing sizes, (including shoes) and make, model, year and color of car to vampirediariescasting@gmail.com with the subject line “GRADUATION”.
And, tomorrow, 4/10, The Vampire Diaries is filming in the Town Square in Covington, GA.

After determining it would be impossible to replace the tax revenues, tourism, and world-wide recognition they receive from filming, Covington, GA is ready to welcome back the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries tomorrow.
Convington fills in for the fictional Mystic Falls in the show and has become a popular tourist stop for fans of the series.
Tomorrow, The Vampire Diaries will film at the intersection of Floyd Street and East Street in Covington from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m.

where to see The Vampire Diaries cast
The cast of The Vampire Diaries is busy shooting season 2 in Covington, GA, which fills in as Mystic Falls on the show.
We received a tip that they were filming at a Lockwood Manor today, but can’t seem to locate the manor on a map, though we were able to find Oakwood Manor here. Our source added the cast is often “all around town”.
Not only do fans of the TV show have season 2 to look forward too, but fans of the books can now look forward to a new trilogy too!

Update: Just got a tip that today’s location is a hospital, same tomorrow too.
Newton Medical Center (5126 Hospital Drive Ne) seems to be the largest hospital in Covington but there is also a Covington Manor, which appears to be a Nursing Home, any ideas which it could be?
