Kristen Bell has signed on to co-star with Christina Aguilera in Burlesque, about “the journey of an ambitious small-town girl (Aguilera) with a big-town voice who finds love and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club.” Shooting begins in Los Angeles November 9th with a Thanksgiving 2010 release planned.
Boarding School 3D, starring David Chokachi, begins filming in Detroit later this year. Wasn’t he on one of those VH1 shows where washed up celebs go to try to revive their career? Based on the title of this movie, I don’t think it worked.
Gerard Butler is blaming the paps for ruining scenes for The Bounty while they were filming in NYC. He said, “A lot of the paparazzi are really good people but some of them are a nightmare. They go out of their way to disrupt filming and it’s really sad because you’re there with a crew of 200 just trying to make a living.”
Several big names are heading to Spokane, WAfor the movie The Big Bang. Antonio Banderas, Sam Elliott, Rebecca Mader (Lost) and Snoop Dogg are all set to star in the film. This will be the second movie Snoop filmed in Spokane, he was also featured in the 2007 film, The Golden Door as well.

I love your site and I wanted to share some of my photos from The Bounty shoot in Williamsburg. The one scene they did on Graham Ave and Skillman Ave was quick. But once they were done Gerard Butler was kind enough to take pictures with the fans even though we were being told no by others working on the set. I myself didn’t get a photo with him sadly because he was rushed away to head to the Greenpoint studio to finish up but I did get a great shot of my friend and her son with him. When she asked if he could take the picture she was told no immediately [by someone else] but he brushed that off and said of course come on over!!!! He fussed over the baby a little and was very sweet. He also greeted a fan and her pooch and I got a shot of him giving the little doggie a smooch on the head. He was all smiles and seemed to be more than happy to try and get to as many of us crazy fans as he could before being pulled away…lol. I was told this was the last official day of filming by someone doing crowd control for the shoot… but we’re hoping they’ll need to do a few re-shoots sometime in the future..lol.

The Bounty, which also stars Gerard Butler, is about a bounty hunter who finds out his next target is his ex-wife. Jennifer begins filming her next movie, The Goree Girls, a musical centered around a group of incarcerated female country-and-western performers, in January 2010.

According to @BostonTweet, The Town is going to be filming at Athenaeum & 1st, next to Genzyme in Kendall Sq, Cambridge, MA this week. The movie is being directed by Ben Affleck, who also stars along with Jon Hamm and Blake Lively. FYI: @Prodweek says they’ve set up their office in Cambridge but filming doesn’t start until 8.31 and someone else said that they are filming aerials of Boston this week only so proceed with caution on this one. Got a tip that The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, starring Zac Efron, was filming in Deep Cove, North Vancouver yesterday and will return today but I’m not sure of the exact location, if you have any more details, let us know! (Thanks Alex!) UPDATE: Might be filming at the Capilano Graveyard. There are yellow signs that say “CFP” on them. (Thanks Vanessa!) Update:Charlie St.Cloud was filming through the night Tuesday at the north end of Lillooet park. The general public was allowed to walk the hiking paths which ran through their circus, but not allowed into the actual filming area which was about 50ft away.
