A couple days ago we broke the news that Taylor Lautner was going to be filming in New York City for one day, but at the time we weren’t quite sure what the shoot was for.
Thanks to one of our readers, Ariella, we found out that Taylor was indeed in NYC today filming under the title “Movie Awards”. We can only assume the shoot was a sketch for the upcoming MTV Movie awards which will air on June 5th.

One of our readers, Annie, alerted us to a recent casting call for a stand-in for Taylor Lautner on May 17 in New York City.
She wrote:
Casting call looking for a stand-in for Taylor Lautner for Tuesday, 5/17. Any idea what that might be for? For type of production, it just says” other” rather than television, commercial or theatrical.
We’re not sure what Taylor might be filming, they were filming re-shoots for Abduction in Pittsburgh not long ago, maybe they are filming for a day or two in NYC too?

According to the Pittsburgh Port Authority, the Taylor Lautner film Abduction, which was shot in Pittsburgh last summer, will be doing re-shoots tomorrow for one day only on North Shore Dr.

Update (2.20.11): Even though this thread was opened back in October, we’re giving it a bit of a reboot now that filming has moved from Baton Rouge to Vancouver. Breaking Dawn is expected to begin shooting in and around Vancouver the week of Feb. 21. So here’s a quick refresher about where some of the movie’s most infamous locations can be found:
The Swan House: 28 Avenue & 188 St in South Surrey (Kerry Park, South Surrey)
Jacob’s House: Located on Victoria Drive, Port Coquitlam (red house on the end of the road).
The Cullen House: Located on Stevens Dr, British Properties, North Vancouver (at the end of the road).
Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam: Several outdoor scenes in Eclipse were shot here.
