Prisoners is returning to Conyers, GA, where they spent 3 months filming earlier this month, on Saturday, Feb. 23.

The shoot will take place on Flat Shoals Road, between Ga. Highway 138 and Parker Road in Conyers, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

As we’ve reported, Prisoners, a new movie starring Hugh Jackman as man who kidnaps the person he believes took his daughter, has been filming in Conyers, GA for the past couple of weeks, but it looks like the production will be moving on soon.

According to PatchMonroe, Prisoners will be filming at 1605 Troy Smith Road, Monroe, GA (near Highway 78) “next week”.

It appear filming is in full swing for Prisoners, the upcoming Hugh Jackman thriller about a man who kidnaps the man believes is behind the disappearance of his daughter.

Thanks to one of our readers, Tim, we know that pre-production on the movie started last week in the Stanton Woods Subdivision in Conyers, GA. Currently, they are filming at five different homes in the neighborhood, including the two pictured below.

One of the homes has been wrapped with platforms for camera placement, well another was fitted with hoses to simulate rain. Film signs around the neighborhood also read Captives, which was also the name listed on the production flyers.

Thanks to a few of our Twitter followers, we’ve learned there is a big production set up in Conyers, GA, which appears to be Prisoners, the upcoming movie starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal.

The production is set up at Ebenezer United Methodist in Conyers, there are also “To Set” and “Captive” signs pointing to a set in the Stanton Woods Subdivision.

An open casting call for extras for Prisoners, starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal, ha been announced for Sunday, Dec. 9, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers, GA.

The movie will mostly be filmed in the Conyers area beginning January 16 through March 26, 2013.

According to Tammy Smith Casting, men and women, age 18 and older, of all ethnicities are needed to appear as background actors in the film. Extras are needed to “portray middle class men and women with suburban and rural community looks; police precinct men and women, such as detectives police officers and precinct staff; and hospital and emergency room staff types, such as nurses, doctors, orderlies, etc”.
