Video has recently been uploaded showing Fast & Furious 7 has resumed filming, but they’ve moved production to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. From what sources say, they were simulating a police chase.

After the untimely death of Paul Walker, the future of the movie series was put into question. Rumor has it that the footage shot with him will be used and, with a rewrite of the script, his character will be “retired.”

After Saturday’s tragic death of actor Paul Walker, Universal is trying to figure out how to handle the remaining production of Fast & Furious 7.

The movie, which has been filming in Atlanta since September, was set to resume shooting today after being on hiatus for Thanksgiving, but those plans are on hold for at least a few days, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Walker was co-hosting a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide just before the fatal car crash that also claimed the life of Roger Rodas, a well-respected financial adviser and the CEO of Walker’s company Always Evolving. Proceed from the charity, held in Santa Clarita, CA, were to go to victims of the recent Philippines Typhoon.

According to The Wrap, Bruce Willis and Paul Walker are currently in talks to join The Set Up, which will star (and is being produced by) Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

The story reportedly follows a group of friends who are “catapulted into the middle of a diamond heist that turns deadly.”

In the meantime, the Michigan Film Office is also reporting that The Set Up is currently looking for crew members for the Grand Rapids shoot which is expected to take place soon. 50 Cent is no stranger to Grand Rapids and has shot several movies in town in recent years. He says that he prefers shooting in Michigan because it is more laid back than a big city like New York. “I was comfortable and able to focus on the actual project because of that”, he explained.

Currently, Jackson is shooting another film, Lives of Saints, in Los Angeles and Willis is set to start filming Looper in New Orleans on January 24.
