A new movie with the working title Let It Snow has started filming in Pittsburgh, PA and they are looking for locals interested in being photo doubles.

The film, which centers on several family members all returning home for the holidays, is set to film in town from January through March. John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried and Alan Arkin all star in Let It Snow, due out next Christmas.

The shoot also marks the second movie Seyfried has filmed in Pittsburgh in less than a year. Last spring she was in town with Aaron Paul and Russel Crowe for their upcoming film, Fathers and Daughters.

On Saturday, Jan. 3, Let It Snow will be filming at Pittsburgh Creche at U.S. Steel Tower plaza and the ice skating rink at PPG Place, but none of the movie’s stars are expected to be there.

The new Will Smith movie – which is known as the “Untitled NFL Concussion Drama”, “Game Brain”, and “Concussion” – is looking for a few Pittsburgh locals to play dead.

The movie is based on an October 2009 GQ story by Jeanne Marie Laskas, which followed Dr. Bennet Omalu’s work on concussions and brain damage in football players.

Over the weekend “Concussion” was spotted filming in downtown Pittsburgh.

This week Vin Diesel gave his fans a peek at his latest project, The Last Witch Hunter.

He posted the new photos, along with the caption “Kaldur state of mind… The Last Witch Hunter. Fall 2015!”, on his Facebook page Monday.

In the movie, Vin’s character Kaldur “has battled witches through the millennia to modern-day Manhattan where the evil witch queen plots to unleash a horrific plague on humanity, which forces him to join forces with a rogue witch who has developed a soft spot for humans.” Rose Leslie, Julie Englelbrecht, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson also star.

Today, the highly anticipated film Me & Earl & the Dying Girl begins filming in Pittsburgh, PA.

The movie is based on the best-selling book about “a quirky high school student in Pittsburgh who is forced by his mother to befriend a sick girl he once knew when they attended Hebrew school together. Well-liked by every clique in school without actually belonging to any of them, the young man’s commitment to the new friendship changes his life.”

There can be no doubt that Russell Crowe is a very busy man, not only is he currently putting the finishing touches on his directorial debut feature-length film The Water Diviner in the southwestern Turkish province of Muğla, he is also heading to Pittsburgh to start filming Fathers and Daughters.

According to Today’s Zaman, Crowe is working in the “5,000-year-old village of Kayaköy in Muğla for the final scenes of his upcoming historical drama.” The movie focuses on an Australian father as he comes to Turkey following World War I to look for his three sons who went missing during the Battle of Gallipoli in Çanakkale.

Russell Crowe‘s next movie, Fathers and Daughters, will start filming in Pittsburgh, PA on March 14 and they are looking for extras.

Fathers and Daughters is described as being about a woman who struggles with relationship issues as she reflects on her troubled past with her famous novelist father. Aaron Paul, Amanda Seyfried, Quvenzhané Wallis, Octavia Spencer, and Diane Kruger also star.

According to a recent casting call, extras ages 18-50 needed for the feature film on March 14th. Here are the details:
