Anton Yelchin, Glenn Close, Frank Langella, Berenice Marlohe, Lambert Wilson and Olivia Thirlby began filming Victor Levin’s indie film 5 to 7.

The movie follows an aspiring novelist (Yelchin) who has an extramarital affair with a French diplomat’s wife (Marlohe). Lambert Wilson plays the diplomat, Thirlby portrays a New York book editor, Langella and Close play his parents.

Below are filming locations this weekend, 5/18 & 5/19/2013:

There are several big productions in Manhattan this weekend, here’s a breakdown, let us know if you spot any of these movies filming: 

American Hustle on Saturday (starts very early in the morning, like 3 AM early!): 57th – 60th and 6th Ave – Park Ave in NYC (Thanks @TheGirlsNY) UPDATE: They were filming at The Plaza in the morning, not sure if they moved locations or wrapped for day, but they were finished there around noon. UPDATE # 2: as of 3 PM sounds like they are filming around 58th and 6th Ave.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Saturday: Henry and Oliver St in NYC (China Town)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Sunday: 23rd – 31st St and 5th- Park Ave in NYC (Thanks @DanielWanderman, @phuqyhew, @jenknyc, @ksnozza, @strokefest, @MayMunich) UPDATE: Signs at E 16th St and Irving Place NYC too.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues on Saturday: 22th-33rd St and Fifth/Madison/Park Ave in NYC AND 48th – 51st St and 5th/6th/7th Ave

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty on Saturday: 29th St and 7th/8th Ave in NYC AND Broadway and Tiemann Pl, in NYC (Thanks ‏@chantalmclaugh @toowylde)

American Hustle, aka Abscam Project, aka the Untitled David O. Russell Project, aka American Bullshit, wrapped up filming in the Boston area on Wednesday and will spend the last couple days of production in NYC.

The movie stars Christian Bale as a financial con-man who was caught by an OTT federal agent, played by Bradley Cooper, along with his girlfriend, played by Amy Adams in the 1970s. The couple was offered a deal provided they help turn the tables on other crooks and shady politicians. They ended up taking on a leader of the New Jersey state assembly, played by Jeremy Renner, among others. Jennifer Lawrence and Louis C.K. have also recently joined the cast.

Yesterday, Andrew Garfield was spotted filming a fight scene with Paul Giamatti (Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich/The Rhino) on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

As you can see in this video, and the photos below, Spider-Man (Garfield) does a little dance after tying Sytsevich up in his web.

Here’s a look at what’s filming on location on May 11 & May 12, 2013:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is filming around Broadway and White St – Worth St in NYC on Saturday. (Thanks @Lestrange28 @TheGirlsNY)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is filming around Gold and York and Plymouth and Main St in Dumbo, Brooklyn on Saturday and Sunday. (Thanks @etsybey)

UPDATE:  Twisted is filming at Broadway and Landing Dr in Dobbs Ferry.

Divergent signs posted at 211 Adams St in Chicago through Sunday and at a factory on W Schubert Ave between Kildare & Keeler Ave in Chicago through Saturday but we don’t think they’ve been filming on the weekend.

Even though the movie Birdman isn’t expected to begin shooting until later this month, filming permit signs for the movie have already been spotted in Manhattan. On Monday, Birdman signs were spotted around 47th St and 8th Ave in New York City.

Tom Hardy is already wrapping up the first week of production on his next project, Animal Rescue, in NYC.

Earlier in the week Tom shot scenes in Brooklyn before the production moved to Forest Hills for two days of on location shooting.

The movie stars Hardy as “a man who wants to shed his criminal path but somehow gets mixed up in a bad heist and a killing resulting from a lost and contested pit bull.”
