Last week we exclusively reported that Captain America: The Winter Soldier has begun filming at Marvel Studios in California and now SuperHeroHype has the first Cleveland filming location for the movie, which will move production to Ohio next month.
Though there is no word when exactly they will film there, the report states they will be filming at the Lorian Road Bridge in Cleveland.
As we’ve reported, the upcoming Captain America sequel, starring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan, and Scarlett Johansson, is set to begin filming in Cleveland, OH next month and they’re in need of local extras.
According to the Buffalo News, principal photography on the film Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner, is expected to begin next month at the NFL Draft in NYC’s Radio City Music Hall.
The movie will depict Costner as a fictitious Buffalo Bills General Manager trying to restore his team to past glory but, instead of being filmed in Buffalo where it is set, it will primarily be shot in Cleveland, OH this spring.
According to Tim Clark, who heads the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission, the reason for filming in Ohio was purely economical.
