With the release of Divergent this weekend, its sequel, Insurgent, has been greenlit (officially).

“We’re confident that ‘Divergent’ is on its way to becoming another important franchise for us, and we have just greenlit the second film, ‘Insurgent,’” said Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer.

The films are based on the books in Veronica Roth’s best selling trilogy about Tris, a 16-year-old living in a dystopia who does not fit into any one of the society’s five factions.

According to a local source The Hunger Games: Mockingjay appears to be back at Pullman Yards in Atlanta this week.

The movie first started setting up at Pullman Yards back in October and last week crews returned to begin prepping the set once again.

Yesterday a tarp was  attached to the property’s fence and a crew member confirmed they were scheduled to shoot on the site 1/27 – 1/29.

As we reported over the weekend, the latest installment of The Hunger Games movies, Mockingjay, is currently filming at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.

Thanks to one of our Twitter followers, @Appltre, we have a couple more photos from inside the hotel. It might look familiar to Hunger Games fans as the hotel was also used in Catching Fire.

Last year The Hunger Games: Catching Fire spent several days filming at the historic Swan House in Atlanta and now it looks like they might be doing it all again for Mockingjay Part 1.

One of our readers, Anna was at the Atlanta History Center recently and saw a group of location scouts with notebooks and tablets taking measurements of the Swan House, presumably for Mockingjay, which begins filming in Atlanta this month.

We also noticed that the Swan House has added a note to their website stating “Swan House will be closed to the public on Friday, October 18, 2013″, which is very similar to the notices they posted when Catching Fire was shot there last fall.
