A few weeks ago we posted the first group of photos from a Hunger Games: Mockingjay set being constructed at a mill site, located off of Experiment Street in Griffin, GA, and at the time it looked like they were going to begin filming any day but, three weeks later, the set is still being built and it just keeps growing and growing.

The latest photos show a “wall” of containers being built for a green screens, “smoke damage” has been added to the buildings, which are now painted gray, and a chunk of foam facade with the words “Of Justice” carved into it.

Thanks to one of our readers, Tony, we’ve got a few photos of the set crews have been building for Mockingjay at their Griffin, GA set. Filming is expected to take place at the mill site, located off of Experiment Street, this week.

As you can see in the photos below they have built a stage on the property and have been putting up exterior walls around it.

According to one of our tipsters in Atlanta, there are C4 production signs posted near Marietta St NW and Spring St NW tonight and, as we’ve already reported, those the same signs they are using at other confirmed filming locations for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

It’s also been confirmed that the movie’s stars are starting to arrive in town. Last night Jennifer Lawrence was spotted having dinner with Jeff Daniels (who is in town for Dumb and Dumber To) while Liam Hemsworth was spotted arriving at the Atlanta Airport, too.

So, it looks like the chase is back on to find the next Hunger Games filming locations, may the odds be ever in your favor!

Last year The Hunger Games: Catching Fire spent several days filming at the historic Swan House in Atlanta and now it looks like they might be doing it all again for Mockingjay Part 1.

One of our readers, Anna was at the Atlanta History Center recently and saw a group of location scouts with notebooks and tablets taking measurements of the Swan House, presumably for Mockingjay, which begins filming in Atlanta this month.

We also noticed that the Swan House has added a note to their website stating “Swan House will be closed to the public on Friday, October 18, 2013″, which is very similar to the notices they posted when Catching Fire was shot there last fall.

As we’ve reported, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is in pre-production in Georgia and it looks like we might have uncovered one of their first filming locations.

Late last week one of our Twitter followers, @DoubleD923, spotted yellow production signs in Griffin, GA with C4 printed on them. C4 also happens to be one of the production companies associated with the film which means the signs could be pointing to one of the movie’s future locations. But with so many movies, films, and commercials currently filming in Georgia we haven’t been able to confirm the set up in Griffin is for sure for Mockingjay.
