Sorcerer’s Apprentice, starring Nicolas Cage, is filming around Washington Square Park, NYC, signs spotted on West 4th, Laguardia, Bleecker and Mercer. (Thanks Tara & NYC Tour Guide Galman!)

Bored to Death, starring Ted Danson, Jason Schwartzman, and Olivia Thirlby, is filming around E 10th and Stuyvesant, NYC. (Thanks Natalie!)

Howl, starring James Franco, is filming on 78th between Park & Lexington, NYC. (Thanks Tiffany and CS!)

Did You Hear About The Morgans?, a new rom-com starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant, is filming around Columbus Circle, W. 60th/ 59th and 9th/10th, NYC. (Thanks Danni O., Con, and Moviefan)

Entourage is filming under the 6th St Bridge @ 6th St & Santa Fe Ave in Los Angeles.

Washington Field, a new TV pilot, is filming at 500 S Hill St and 440 Seaton St, Los Angeles.

Parks and Recreation, the new Amy Poehler sitcom, is filming at 100 Garfield Av N and 1300 Green St E, Pasadena, CA.

Angels Vs Demons is filming at 1317 Willow St, Los Angeles. (note: the permit said Angels VS Demons, I have no idea what that is, but added it here just in case it is actually Angels and Demons, starring Tom Hanks.)

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 will be filming on Broadway from 2nd to 8th in Los Angeles. This may be a chase scene, signs spotted in some of the local jewelry stores. (Thanks Jammie!)

M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender is filming near Reading, PA.

See Kate Run, a new pilot starring Amy Smart, is filming at 539 Tremont St, Boston, MA.

The Extra Man is filming around Laguardia Pl and Bleeker (6am to 2am) and 7th Avenue at 41st Street, NYC. (Thanks Joanna and MW!) This movie stars Paul Dano, John C. Reilly, and Kate Holmes but rumor has it, Kate is done filming.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, starring Nicholas Cage, is filming along Broadway between 78th and 79th Streets and on 78th between Broadway and Amsterdam, NYC, all week. (Thanks Charlotte!)

Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, is filming at Riverside Dr/Broadway at W 155th St in NYC.

Law and Order: CI is filming on West 4th from about 6th Ave to Washington Square, NYC. (Thanks Tara!)

Gossip Girl is filming near Centre St & Chamber St, NYC, 6 a.m. -10 p.m. (Thanks Tiffani and Ruthie!)

Howl, starring James Franco, is filming at E 78th and Lexington in NYC again. (Thanks to James and C!)

Bored to Death starring Ted Danson, Jason Schwartzman, and Olivia Thirlby is filming in NYC around 6th Ave & 20th St. We also heard they are filming today and tomorrow on E 10th/E 9th and Stuyvesant. SVU is filming around 5th Avenue/Lenox and W 121st- W 124th in Harlem from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. (Thanks Lottie and Anon!)

The Untitled Nancy Meyers Project, starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Lake Bell, and John Krasinski, is still filming at Broadway Stages in Brooklyn.

Mercy (may be this TV pilot starring Michelle Trachtenberg) is filming at Barnert Hospital in Paterson, NJ again.

Dark Chronicles is filming near Willow St., Los Angeles.

FYI: Fringe is in studio, Sivercup East, LIC.

UPDATE:

They have turned the convention center (L.A.) into an airport and will be taping Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 there all day. (Thanks Jammie!)

Did You Hear About The Morgans? is filming at 58th Street between 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue, NYC. (Thanks Melissa) FYI: See the comments for more, one of the trailers is labeled “Paul” and Paul McCartney was there yesterday, maybe we’ll have another sighting! Upd: Trailers also spotted on Lexington between 52nd and 54th. (Thanks JAM!)

The Baster, a new comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman, is filming at Barbuto, 775 Washington St, NYC.  (Thanks Amy!) FYI: It looks like this will be an interior scene, one of the walls in the restaurant was just painted to be used as a backdrop in today’s scene. (Thanks Erick!)

For Salt, starring Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber, signs were spotted in three locations around NYC. First, Stillwell Ave and Bowery St in Coney Island, Brooklyn (might be shooting exteriors on the boardwalk, Thanks Russell!), Riverside Dr @ W 155th St for Monday and Tuesday (Thanks Anon!) and Bedford Park and 205th St in the Bronx, cones are set up all around Grand Concourse and 205th. (Thanks Lisa!) note: I’m wondering if W 155th location may be for Tuesday only and Monday is the tow date? Upd: Just got word that it doesn’t look like anything is happening at the Riverside Dr location. (Thanks Lily!)

The Extra Man, starring Paul Dano and John C. Reilly, is filming on E 89th between 1st and York, NYC, 6 a.m.-2 a.m. FYI: There was a memo sent out to surrounding apartment buildings stating they will be filming “between the afternoon and evening hours”. (Thanks Sue!) We’ve heard Katie Holmes has wrapped her scenes.

Did You Hear About The Morgans?, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant, is filming around 58th St between Central Park South and 8th Avenue in Manhattan from 5am to 11pm. (Thanks Moose!)

Re: Gossip Girl, I got a tip (very reliable) that they are filming in studio. Also received a tip that signs were spotted on Chambers St/Reade St and Church St, NYC, for today, signs spotted in this area for tomorrow too. (Thanks Anon too!)

Eastwick, the new ABC pilot starring Lindsay Price and Rebecca Romijn, is filming at 1380 E. 6th St, Los Angeles. (Thanks Lisa!)

Three Rivers is filming at the Brownsville Tri-County Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA for the next two weeks. Three Rivers is a new pilot for CBS, starring Julia Ormond, Alex O’Loughlin, Justina Machado, Christopher J. Hanke, Katherine Moennig and Daniel Henney.

The TV pilot, See Cate Run, starring Amy Smart, is filming at the Sate House in Boston tomorrow, Saturday, March 28th.

Howl, starring James Franco and Jon Hamm, is filming at the Bronx Supreme Court, 851 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY.

Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson, is filming in downtown Newnan, GA, on Sunday, March 29th.

The TV pilot, Washington Field, which is also filming in D.C., is filming at 630 W. 5th St & 607 S Olive St in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 29th.

Fringe is filming around Lenox Ave (Malcolm X Blvd) and W 120th in Harlem.

Salt (starring Angelina Jolie) is in the studio in Long Island again. (no word on this weekend yet, will update if we get any further info)

Nip/Tuck is filming at 1360 E. 6th St, Los Angeles, tomorrow, March 28th.

Mercy is at the same location on Broadway in Patterson, NJ.

Rescue Me filming at White & Broadway, NYC.

UPDATES:

We’ve had two reports that Salt was filming this weekend back at Riverside Dr @ W 155th St, NYC, but they are both unconfirmed and both came from the IMDb message boards. I tried to get more info but haven’t had any luck. If you’re in this area this weekend and see anything, please let us know in a cooment below-thanks! Update: I just got a tip confirming this location for Mon and Tues. I’ll have the rest of the locations for Monday up tomorrow (Sunday)!

Also, something titled AAR is filming at 6th St. from Spring St. to Broadway in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 29th, noon to 7 p.m.  I suspect it might be an All American Rejects video but can’t confirm.

UPDATE:

Signs for The Extra Man were spotted  on Greenpoint Ave and Starr Ave (very close to Silvercup East) but no trucks were there at all…just cones. (Thanks Peter!)

Breaking News: Jon Hamm Joins The Cast of Howl

jon150Jon Hamm (Mad Men, 30 Rock) has joined the cast of Howl.  Hamm will play the defense attorney, Jake Ehrlich, whose life was the inspiration for the TV series Perry Mason.

The movie, starring James Franco as poet Allen Ginsberg, is about the obscenity trial that centered around Ginsberg’s famed poem Howl.

Today, the movie continues filming at the Bronx Supreme Court where it will be through the end of the week.
