So far the search for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 filming in New York City has been more confusing than anything, but we’ve found a few more casting calls that at least provide a few clues about when they might be filming on location, even if we’re not sure where they’ll be, yet. UPDATED: First official filming permit signs spotted in Manhattan for ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′!

After yesterday’s confusion over the Amazing Spider-Man 2 shoot in Queens, we are happy to report we have photographic proof of tomorrow’s filming location thanks to one of our readers, Miles.

It also means we know for sure they will be using the movie’s working title, London Calling, on the No Parking signs posted around NYC so we know what to look for, too!

UPDATED: ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′ spotted filming in Queens, NY today

As we reported, several casting calls were posted earlier this month for a Funeral/Wake scene for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 filming tomorrow, Feb. 14, and it looks like we might have discovered where that scene will be shot.

According to one of our commenters, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is shooting a cemetery scene later today at the Lutheran Cemetery in Queens, NY. Trailers are parked on Myrtle Ave and Freshpond Road.”

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ begins filming at Grumman Studios in New York

This week, thanks to Marc Webb’s Twitter feed, it was announced that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 began filming, it just wasn’t clear where they were filming.

Based on recent casting calls (and Marc’s Tweets) it was clear they were filming in New York, but there hadn’t been any signs spotted, until today. This morning HHH signs were spotted outside Grumman Studios in Bethpage, NY, which we’ve confirmed are for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
