That goes for our tipsters in Vancouver too! Zac Efron was already spotted in Vancouver preparing for his next film, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, which begins filming August 4th.
Hundreds of fans waited along the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC on July 9th for the stars of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price to arrive at the movie’s premiere. Here are pictures from a few of those fans and their firsthand reports!
Kim took pictures of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Rupert Grint (Ron Wesley) and Tom Felton (Drako Malfoy). She was also lucky enough to get autographs from Daniel, Rupert, and Emma! (After waiting for about 7 hours!)
Chelsea arrived to the premiere around 5:30 after woork and said, “It was a mob scene, and people apparently camped out the night before just to get a spot at the front of the barricades! Thankfully I am a pretty small person so I was able to sneak my way up to the very front and had a perfect view of all the Harry Potter cast! Emma Watson walked by the barricades and signed autographs and took pictures, she was so sweet! And even more stunning in person! I also saw Alan Rickman (Snape) , Tom Melton (Malfoy) whose date was Mary Kate Olsen, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), and Rupert Grint, along with a list of other random celebs attending the event. Thanks again for posting about the premiere! Now my summer is complete!”

Apparently, Russell Crowe has turned into quite the diva and is now requesting a private helicopter to take him to the Robin Hood set in Wales everyday.

It looks like the Untitled Nancy Meyers Project will be filming in Santa Barbara for a while since several locations have been scheduled to be used in the film including De La Guerra Plaza, the Courthouse Sunken Gardens and portions of Highway 101 along the coast.
Morning Glory, a comedy about a TV morning news show starring Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams, begins filming in New York in two weeks.
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago announced that it is extending its world premiere run of Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which opens on April 30, 2009, by nearly three weeks due to the high demand for tickets. The exhibit, which was originally set to end its run on September 7, will now close on September 27, 2009.
Provinces of Night, starring Hilary Duff and filming in Wilmington, NC, is still looking for extras. For the past two days, they have been filming at UNC.
Finally, premieres have been scheduled for June in Wisconsin and L.A. for Public Enemies, starring Johnny Depp. The movie filmed entirely on location in Wisconsin.
