5.22.08 Filming Locations

Farlanders is filming at the Dragonfly Lounge in Stamford, CT. One of our readers, Nick, spoke to one of the workers who said they are filming tonight and that at least John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph will be there. He also said that the movie will take place in Montreal so they are trying to turn the restaurant into a Montreal one. (Thanks Nick!)

Julie and Julia is filming near East 67th street, between Lexington and Park. (Thanks Jane!)

Everybody’s Fine is filming at the train station in Danbury, CT.

The Surrogates is still filming at the courthouse in Worcester, MA (2 Main St). We were on set yesterday and though we didn’t see Bruce Willis we did see them filming a scene in a courtroom which was really cool! We will post pictures soon and pictures from the sets of Ashecliffe and Mall Cop which we also visited yesterday!

3.13.08 The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and Ashecliffe Filming Locations

Ashecliffe is filming at the Medfield State Hospital (45 Hospital Rd) in Medfield again today.

Exciting news about Zack and Miri! They will be filming scenes today on Hazelwood Ave in Pittsburgh PA until 9 PM. Here is a complete of street closures due to filming through Thursday! If have stories or pics from the set, let us know!

Wisconsin is one step closer to becoming the location for Public Enemies which begins shooting March 9th.

Here is a list of winners from the Sundance Film Festival.

Lipstick Jungle is filming in Manhattan near E 85th (between Madison and Park). LJ finally premieres on Feb. 7th on NBC.

Zack and Miri is filming in at the old Prospect School in Mount Washington (PA).

Milk is filming on Castro Street in San Francisco.

We just received another tip from one of our readers, Elissa, that Lipstick Jungle is filming on Madison between 77th and 81st in Manhattan. Thanks Elissa!

Update: We have learned that Heath Ledger’s body is at a funeral home on Madison and 81st which might be part of the reason there is so much commotion in this neighborhood.  We hope anyone who is in the vicinity is respectful to his memory and his grieving family.

We have just learned the highly anticipated Confessions of a Shopaholic will be filmed this spring in Greenwich, Connecticut. It sounds like it will be filmed in the same park where a scene for Old Dogs was filmed this summer. Check out our exclusive pictures from that shoot.
