The HBO movie, Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight which is shooting at 23rd St and 5th Ave in New Your City through next week, will be filming scenes in Albany and Schenectady, NY on Wednesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 11, and they are currently looking for extras for the shoot.

The movie will focus on Ali’s objections to the Vietnam War and the ensuing ‘fight’ with the US government. After Ali was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1966, he refused to step forwarded at the armed services induction and was arrested. Since he had converted to Islam two years earlier, he argued the conflict was against his religious beliefs. Later, a series of appeals led him to the Supreme Court. Danny Glover, Barry Levinson, Pablo Schreiber, Ed Begley Jr., Bob Balaban and Kathleen Chalfant have also joined the cast.

Today Emma Roberts was spotted at Phoebe’s Restaurant in Syracuse for the first day of filming on her new movie Adult World.

The movie will be moving quickly from one Central New York location to another (they had moved on from Phoebe’s to a second location by 10:30 a.m. today) due to their tight 22-day schedule.

The scenes shot at Phoebe’s were a coffee-shop scene (Roberts tries to buy a cup of coffee at a takeout window but doesn’t have enough cash) and a restaurant scene.

Since The Place Beyond The Pines began filming a few weeks ago, we’ve seen plenty of fan photos of the movie’s star, Ryan Gosling but now, thanks to our readers, we have a few photos of Ryan’s co-stars, Bradley Cooper and Ray Liotta too!

In the movie, Ryan plays a motorcycle stuntman who robs a bank to support his family. Bradley play the cop turned politician who is after him.

Thanks to one of our readers, we have a list of all of the locations that will be used in The Place Beyond The Pines, which stars Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, and Bradley Cooper, and is currently filming in and around the Schenectady/Albany, NY area.

The list includes what the location will be called in the movie, but unfortunately doesn’t include which dates they will be filming at which location, though it will certainly help us narrow things down as we are searching for the production!

Here’s the list:

As we’ve reported, “The Place Beyond the Pines” is scheduled to begin filming in just a few weeks in Schenetady, NY and now it has been confirmed that a second film will also be shot in Schenectady this fall.

“Indelible,” which will star Tristan Wilds (“90210″), is scheduled to begin shooting in the Upstate New York city in October. The movie focuses on a geneticist who is trying to save the life of her son who has a rare congenital disease.

“Indelible” is set in the Bronx, but Schenectady will stand in for NYC. Shooting is scheduled to begin in early October and will take place in a local hospital, school and other locations over a few weeks.

As we first reported a few weeks ago, The Place Beyond The Pines will begin filming in Schenectady, NY on July 25, and this week the first signs of pre-production began in the Upstate New York city.

Pines stars Ryan Gosling as a professional motorcycle rider who robs banks to support his son. Bradley Cooper will also star as a cop trying to catch him.

Schenectady’s film commission is keeping details about the movie closely guard to avoid “people who are rabid fans and want to hang around” but luckily, we have a few ways around that!

Olympia Dukakis, Virginia Madsen, and Aidan Quinn are currently shooting The Art of Love in New York’s Hudson Valley. The film is about a young girl who sparks a magical power she didn’t know she had after falling in love with a young poet.

The production spent the first to weeks of the four week shoot filming at the Byrdcliffe Art Colony before shooting several exterior and driving scenes in Woodstock, NY last week. They are currently wrapping up the final week of filming at the Saugerties High School in Saugerties, NY.

This is the third film the movie’s production company, BCDF Productions, has shot in the region this year.  The first was Higher Ground,  starring Up In The Air’s Vera Farmiga, and the second was Peace, Love  and Misunderstanding, starring Jane Fonda.
