This week filming commenced on Richard Linklater’s Untitled Project, aka That’s What I’m Talking About, in Austin, TX.

Linklater describes the movie as the “spiritual sequel to Dazed and Confused“. It is set in 1980 and follows college freshmen, who are also prospective players for the baseball team, as they are introduced to the hard-partying, fraternity-like life of their upperclassmen.

Ryan Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin, Blake Jenner, and Wyatt Russell are all attached to star in the movie. Actor Glen Powell also confirmed his role in the movie and the start of shooting with this Tweet.

NBC’s “Revolution” will be headed to Rusk, Texas and will be filming in the area from March 24 through March 27. If you are in the area the crew is looking for extras to join the cast.

An Untitled Project is filming  at 1337 Willow St – 1335 Willow St in L.A. (12.10, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

Real Life is filming at 1111 S Broadway in L.A. (12.10, 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

Top Model Sweden is filming at 4th Pl and Santa Fe Ave,  Los Angeles (12.10, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

The Southfork Ranch is one of the most famous properties in America thanks to the 1980’s TV series Dallas in which the ranch was used as the Ewing family home.

This week the Ewing family has returned to Southfork, as the TNT remake of the classic TV show is being shot there through Monday.

- Sarah Jessica Parker is joining Garry Marshall’s New Year’s Eve, which will begin filming in NYC on Feb. 1. [THR]

Update: NYE may begin filming this month after all, which was the original plan. Signs have spotted around NYC for a project called Happy New Year and there have been casting calls spotted for the movie too. Stay tuned!

– After wrapping Wanderlust just a week ago in NYC, Jennifer Aniston is already back to her usual downtime routine of hanging out in Los Cabos with girlfriends. Contagion is filming on the Waukegan, IL end of the Amstutz, from Greenwood Avenue South to Genesee Street.

The ABC Family movie Always and Forever is filming at various locations throughout Savannah.

Battleship is filming at 606 S Plymouth Blvd (7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.).*

The Cape, a new NBC series, is filming at 369 E. 1st (4:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.).

Gigi is filming at 1360 E 6th St (7:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.).

Last Angel is filming in the back alley at 740 S. Broadway between 8th St. & 7th St (7:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.).
