The Voyage of the Dawn Treader wrapped filming in Cleveland Point, now they’re moving on to the blue screen.
Hayden Christensen, John Leguizamo and Thandie Newton will star in Vanishing on 7th Street, a new film about survivors of a mysterious phenomenon in which, during a blackout, most of the population disappears. The movie is set to begin filming in Detroit on October 12th.
Due to the strengthening Australia currency, The Green Lantern will now be filmed in Mexico, not down under. The movie, starring Ryan Reynolds, was also set to begin next month, but due to the change in venue has also been pushed back to next year.

Russell Crowe is Pittsburgh bound. The Academy Award winning actor will begin production on The Next Three Days with director Paul Haggis in the next couple of weeks. Crowe stars as a husband whose life is turned upside down when his wife is accused of murder. The movie is expected to wrap by Christmas.
Little Fockers begins filming in Chicago on October 4.Though its unclear whether Dustin Hoffman will be in the latest ‘Fockers’ film, we know he was in Montreal earlier this month working on Barney’s Version with Paul Giamatti. The movie, based on the iconic book, is also expected to film in NYC at some point this fall.
Julia Roberts has landed in India to film the next phase of Eat, Pray, Love. Reportedly, she will be shooting at the Ashram Harimandir, spread over 25 acres in Pataudi, 42 kilometers from Delhi’s IGI airport. The Pretty Woman star will be staying at the Pataudi palace and will be filmed taking yoga classes from the yoga gurus at the Yoga and Meditation Sthal, a two bedroom house with 28 pillars. Meanwhile, Julia’s good friend George Clooney is filming a new movie, called The American aka A Very Private Gentleman, in his adopted home country of Italy.
EG Productions is looking for extras for the new Robert Downey Jr film, Due Date, which begins filming in New Mexico in a few weeks. Casting directors are also looking for extras in Savannah for Robert Redford’s new movie, The Conspirator.
Finally, it looks like You Don’t Know Jack, which has been filming in NYC, will film exterior shots in Michigan next month.

Eat, Pray, Love, starring Julia Roberts has relocated from NYC, where they were filming last week, to Italy. A local blog has pictures of yesterday’s scene shooting at Piazza Navona. The website is in Italian but you get the idea from the pictures.
Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson will begin filming The Sunset Limited in New Mexico next month. Jones will direct the movie about a man who stops another from jumping in front of a NYC subway train, prompting both men to reexamine their lives. Breaking Bad Season 3, MacGruber, Paul and Crash, Season 2 are also currently in production in New Mexico.
The Eagle of the Ninth starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell and Donald Sutherland, began filming with director Kevin Macdonald this week. The movie will be shot entirely on location in Hungary and Scotland.

The cast of the new TV show, GLEE, will be appearing at Hot Topics in the King of Prussia Mall in PA today from 3-6.
