Thanks to one of our readers, Jessica, we have a few photos of Dexter filming scenes for the first episode of season 8 in Long Beach, CA earlier this week but, if you don’t want any spoilers for the upcoming season, you might want to stop here!
On Tuesday and Wednesday most of show’s main cast, including Michael C. Hall, David Zayas, Desmond Harrington, and C.S. Lee, were spotted filming on location in Marina Green Park, near the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

I’m not sure how we missed this.
According to several local news sources, Katie Holmes has been filming a new movie in Kent, Connecticut for the past TWO WEEKS.
Katie has been spotted around town with Suri (and their bodyguards). They recently had dinner at Doc’s Trattoria and Brick Oven Pizza on Maple Street too.
Holmes has reportedly rented a house in Kent, while the production company has booked several hotel rooms in nearby New Milford for the crew.
The movie has been seen filming on Richards Road and Kenmont Road in Kent.
The Untitled Christian Camargo Project is a modern retelling of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull.

At last night’s Showtime Comic-Con 2011 Panel, the cast of Dexter was coy about the upcoming season, but we did get a first look at the season 6 trailer and a preview of an upcoming Dexter Facebook game by Marc Ecko.
Ralph Garman introduced the panel, including Michael C. Hall (Dexter), C.S. Lee (Forensic specialist Masuka), David Zayas (Detective Angel Batista), James Remar (Harry Morgan), and this year’s guest star Colin Hanks (Travis Marshall), along with executive producers Sara Colleton and Scott Buck.
As the panel discussion opened, Colin Hanks said that he feels lucky to be on this year’s show. And Michael C. Hall discussed the trials and tribulations of working with the two 2-year olds who play young Harrison, especially since they’ve learned to embrace the word “No”. He also mentioned that Dexter would begin to focus on finding a moral and religious foundation for his son this year.
