As we’ve said many times before, The Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC is one of the best celeb spotting sites in the city. “The Late Show with David Letterman” is still filmed here and most of his guests use the theater’s side entrance when arriving for their taping. Here are pictures of Patrick Dempsey, Sting and Tom Hanks taken at the theater over the past couple of weeks.
Thanks to Toma for the pics!

U2 is going to be performing on “The Late Show with David Letterman” all week. The “Late Show” is taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater Mondays at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, and Thursdays at 4:30 PM. The second Monday show is played on Friday. If you are in NYC and want to get a glimpse of the band, there is a side door on West 53rd between Broadway and 8th Ave where guests usually enter shortly before they begin taping.
It is also rumored that U2 will be taping a segment for “Good Morning America” at Fordham University on Friday morning, though the university and ABC refuse to comment.
