Celebrity Pictures from NYC including Penn and Blake, Katie, and more!

A few weeks ago we told you where the best places to spot celebs are in NYC. So after the Fringe Premiere Saturday night we were walking to dinner and decided to test out some of our celeb spotting tips. Our first stop was the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre where All My Sons premieres this week. The play stars Mrs. Tom Cruise, John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, and Patrick Wilson. Even though the play hasn’t opened yet we noticed a black SUV waiting outside of the stage door and a security officer peeking out the door. Red flag! Katie’s in there! So we waited and waited and finally the actors started leaving, first Patrick, followed by Diane, John Lithgow, and Christian Camargo (who still scares me). We didn’t take any pictures since Katie’s handlers were watching us and we didn’t want to draw anymore attention to ourselves than necessary. Finally, things started buzzing. Three guys came out of the stage door scoping things out, one told us we couldn’t come any closer. Another was on the phone with someone inside describing the scene on the street. Then they signaled the driver and out she came. We tried to get her attention but she wouldn’t look our way and it was made clear we couldn’t approach her but she did say good bye to the guys watching her, she seemed very nice. So I didn’t see my favorite Dawson’s Creek star but we saw a Dawson’s Creek star, better than nothing I guess.
After dinner we decided to walk over to 30 Rock since SNL was just about to end and we thought we might catch someone. There was a huge crowd waiting (probably 50 people) which shocked us because we used to go down there all the time and were the only ones there. It was also surprising how many celebs were there (maybe because it was the season opener or because Michael Phelps was hosting)!
First we saw Chevy Chase, then Luke Russert, Fred Armisen, Casey Wilson, Bob Costas (who we just saw in Syracuse, NY on Friday), Jason Sudeikis, Seth Myers, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler, Lorne Michaels, Guy Fieri (who we just saw last week in Syracuse), Will Forte (who is starved for attention), and, wait for it, Penn and Blake were there! We finally had our own Gossip Girl sighting though we have no idea what they were doing there. And make sure you watch our videos below, it is true what everyone has been saying, Penn is a jerk, we have a video of him pushing a fan away. We also have a video of Amy Poehler practically bumping us with her huge baby bump (she looks too cute)! And remember if you use any of our tips to see celebs, make sure you send us your pictures too!
So here are the videos and the photo gallery of our best pictures, enjoy!
