Filming Locations for September 14, 2009

Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is filming at Wilshire and Grand Ave, Los Angeles again. (Thanks John!) Correction: Filming has wrapped at this location. (Thanks John!)

The Green Hornet is filming at 430 Madeline Dr & 120 S. Orange Grove Bl, Pasadena, CA. The movie stars Seth Rogan and Cameron but Diaz most likely won’t be at the shoot today since she begins filming Wichita with Tom Cruise in Boston tomorrow.

Southland is filming around 1525 Industrial St & in the alley north of Palmetto St from Mateo St to Santa Fe Ave in Los Angeles until 2 PM.

90210 is filming at 108 W 2nd St, Los Angeles, CA, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Untitled Warner Brothers Project (probably Gossip Girl) signs on 81st St between Madison and 5th Avenue, NYC, 11AM-11PM. (Thanks Sylvie!)

TBL: The Beautiful Life, the new series on The CW, is filming on the corner of 48th and Broadway, at the Morgan Stanley building in NYC. (Thanks!!)

The Good Wife, the new Julianna Margulies CBS series, is filming on 114th St and Jamiaca Ave In Richmond Hills, Queens. (Thanks Billy!)

Going the Distance (starring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long) signs were spotted on 79th and Amsterdam, NYC for Monday, 9.14. (Thanks Andrea!)

Law and Order is filming around w 23rd and 8th Ave in NYC.

There are Red Carpet permit signs posted on Waverly Pl. between 6th and 7th Ave in NYC for today too. (Thanks Brian!) Update: This may have been for an event last night, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Lady Gaga were all going to be Waverly Inn (16 Bank St. and Waverly Pl., about a block from Waverly and 7th) for Columbia Records VMA after party. (Thanks Ana!) Update: Got another tip that the signs aren’t that close to Waverly Inn and they are for today.

Signs spotted for The Other Guys, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, on 110th between Broadway and Amsterdam, NYC. (Thanks Sarah!)

Signs spotted for something called Reunion in Langley (Vancouver) on 264th St (A.K.A. HWY 13) just north of 8th Ave on the east side of the road (Thanks JH!)

The Adjustment Bureau, starring Matt Damon, is filming around Park Ave and E 50th, NYC. (Thanks Anon!)

Something called Cargo is filming around Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue, Brooklyn.

FYI: Hill Harper from CSI:NY tweeted last night that the majority of the cast will be filming on location in NYC later this week. (Friday/Saturday) So keep an eye out for CSI signs! (Thanks Kerry!)

Jennie Garth Teams with TJ Maxx to Help Save The Children

Yesterday, Jennie Garth kicked-off a new program at TJ Maxx stores that helps provide basic items to kids in need. Tiffini was at the NYC event yesterday and told me last night that, “today was such a wonderful day. Jennie had a couple of fans listening to her speech for Save the Children, hoping that she would stop for one moment and take pictures. A security guard came over to the group and ‘assured’ that she would not stop for anything whatsoever. No longer than ten minutes later after finishing an interview with OK! magazine did she come to the fans and start a whole conversation! She was such a doll and took pictures and signed autographs. What a wonderful experience! =)”

All T.J. Maxx stores will carry limited edition reusable shopping bags for $0.99. The bags are designed with Save the Children original children’s artwork, and for each bag purchased, T.J. Maxx will donate one basic item such as socks, underwear and backpacks to Save the Children’s U.S. programs.

90210 was filming at West End (Tennis Club) in Torrance yesterday and may be back today. (Thanks Emily!)

American Idol is filming at 1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena.

The Veronica’s are filming a video at 1360 E. 6th St, Los Angele, tomorrow, 7.1.

Dustin Milligan Leaving 90210 and The End May Be Near For Reaper

After the CW officially announced 90210 would return, rumors about season two started swirling. Now, one of those rumors has been confirmed. Sources have confirmed to EW that Dustin Milligan, who plays affable jock (and one half of 90210’scentral super couple) Ethan, won’t be returning full time to the show in the fall. Dustin may film a few scenes in the beginning of the season to tie up any loose ends with Ethan’s storyline but then the character will exit the show for good. Now, if 90210 1.0 is any indication, there is always hope he may return down the line. (Remember when Dylan moved to Paris, only to return to BH a few years later?)

90210’s new show runner, Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, promised to shake things up when she took over and she certainly is delivering. In addition to axing Dustin, she is also looking to cut all of the original BH cast members. “The show tried to be a lot of things to a lot of people in its first season,” she conceded. “I think the center lies with the generation of kids that are in high school now. I’m not interested in casting people for stunt value.” Ouch. That’s bad news for Jennie Garth who has been a regular in the show as the school’s guidance counselor and the old school fans (like me) who love seeing what has happened to our old friends from West Beverly.

In other CW news, things aren’t looking any better over at Reaper. The creators and executive producers of Reaper, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, have just inked a two year deal with 20th Century Fox TV. Fazekas and Butters’ deal may mean the beginning of the end of Reaper as the two will have to leave the series to begin work on their next project for 20th Century Fox.
