Last night, the cast of Big Eyes attended the movie’s premiere at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Among the attendees were Margaret Keane, the artist the movie is based on, Danny Elfman, Krysten Ritter, Danny Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Christoph Waltz, Amy Adams, Harvey Keitel, and director Tim Burton.

Both Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams were nominated for Golden Globes for their performances in the film.

This morning, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were spotted filming scenes on a motorcycle for their new movie, Daddy’s Home, in New Orleans.

In the movie, Ferrell plays a mild-mannered radio executive whose efforts to be a great stepdad are complicated by the return of the kids’ biological dad (Wahlberg).

This morning, Katey Sagal shared the first photos from the Rhode Island set of her new movie Bleed for This.

Bleed For This, starring Miles Teller, Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, and Ciaran Hinds, will be filming two big scenes at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island tomorrow and Wednesday, and you can still be a part of it.

Jacksonstar

Just in time for the last Middle-Earth film, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, director Peter Jackson was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday.

Along with hundreds of fans, many of Jackson’s Lord of the Rings and Hobbit stars were on hand to celebrate.

The Sayers Club Piven

On Dec. 6, Shane West was spotted inside The Sayers Club at SLS Las Vegas. West was in town for the UFC 181 fight. He sipped cocktails and shared appetizers with his girlfriend Jesica Ahlberg at Katsuya before they made their way to a VIP table at The Sayers Club.

Later the same evening, Jeremy Piven joined Sayers Sessions on stage and took over the drums to perform for the packed crowd.

Last night at the Hollywood Palladium, The Trevor Project celebrated 16 years of its life-saving, life-affirming work, which provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) teens and young adults. The high-profile annual event, TrevorLIVE Los Angeles, was presented by Wells Fargo and hosted by Jennifer Coolidge. The Trevor Project bestowed the Trevor Hero Award to NBC Entertainment’s Chairman, Robert Greenblatt, for his ongoing support of the LGBTQ community; Yahoo with the 20/20 Visionary Award, for its efforts to advance an empowering future-focused message for LGBTQ young people and its allies nationwide; and Skylar Kergil, a transgender artist, musician and YouTube personality, with the Youth Innovator Award for his passions surrounding LGBTQ rights and advocacy in the community.

While accepting the Trevor Hero Award, Robert stated, “I think the purpose of a night like this is to remind all of us – who live in our perfect little bubbles – that there are many, many people out there with truly serious issues.” Greenblatt continued, “They’ve run out of hope because they don’t feel they can ever be who they are.”
