On Friday, Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen hosted Hilarity For Charity’s Totally Magical Prom Night. Held at the historic Hollywood Palladium, the third annual event raised more than $900,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Hilarity For Charity was created by the couple to inspire change and heighten awareness of Alzheimer’s disease among the millennial generation.

“My experience with prom was fine. I spent most of the night avoiding my date’s attempts to make out with me,” Miller Rogen joked. “And while that was fun, it certainly wasn’t the prom night I’d always dreamed of. But tonight, tonight is the prom night of my dreams! And that’s because of you [the audience]. So, thank you! And to my incredible husband – for the powerful speech you gave to the absent Senate to the support you give me and my family every day – I never thought I’d be so lucky.” She added, “My mom, Adele, would have loved tonight. She and I would have gone shopping for a dress together. But, unfortunately she’s not here tonight. She’s at home, 63-years-old and 8 years into her diagnosis with early onset Alzheimer’s. I know that tonight is a night for laughter, but just for a moment, I’d like to remind you why we are here.”

vacation

One of our readers, Bob Bohm, was lucky enough to catch the cast of the new Vacation reboot filming around Piedmont and 6th Aves in Atlanta last week.

New cast members Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, along with the stars of the original film Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo, were among those on set filming a scene with a station wagon very similar to the one used in the first movie.

foxcatcher3

On Friday night the cast of Foxcatcher premiered the movie at the New York Film Festival.

One of our contributors, Denise, was there to watch the stars arrived and told us, “The first to arrive was Anthony Michael Hall and he was really nice. All the others arrived at the same time! Channing Tatum [and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum], Steve Carell, and Mark Ruffalo all walked in together. We missed Mark going in, but luckily caught him leaving and he signed and took photos the most out of all of them. Sienna Miller was there too and she was really nice. On Saturday, while waiting for the Birdman [premiere at at the Alice Tully Hall], we had heard that Channing was in the building doing press or something, so we all ran around back to see him leaving.”

Check out a few photos from the premiere below:

kristenstewart2

This week Kristen Stewart has been in New York City promoting two upcoming movies at the New York Film Festival.
On Tuesday, she discussed Camp X-Ray with an audience at the Apple store in Soho. On her way into the talk she took time to sign for fans, too!

Last night, she premiered Clouds of Sils Maria at Alice Tully Hall. After posing on the red carpet inside the theater and checking out the screening, she changed into casual clothes and quickly exited through the garage.

Check out photos from the Apple store and Alice Tully Hall below:
