The sequel to the hit Mark Wahlberg/Will Ferrell movie Daddy's Home is gearing up to film in Boston, MA this spring and they are looking for extras.
Boston is a new location for the franchise as the first movie was shot in New Orleans back in 2015. Though the location may be changing, the main cast is expected to remain the same with Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, and Linda Cardellini all returning for Daddy's Home 2. Mel Gibson and John Lithgow have also signed on to join the cast.
According to Deadline, the movie's plot will revolve around "father and stepfather, Dusty (Wahlberg) and Brad (Ferrell), are now working together to give their kids a perfect Christmas. When Dusty’s Dad (Gibson) and Brad’s Dad (Lithgow) arrive, their blended family conflicts rise to the surface."
In anticipation of the movie's shoot this spring, Slate Casting is looking for extras. There will be an open call Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the casting agency's 162 Columbus Ave. office in Boston.
Slate Casting said they are casting all ages and all races for the film, the only requirement is to be 7 years or older.
