Right now, Avengers: Infinity War is filming at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville, GA, under the working title Mary Lou, but soon production is expected to move to Scotland.
It’s been confirmed that the third movie in the Marvel series will be filmed in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands. The Scotland shoot is scheduled to start on February 28th, and is expected to last for six months.
Infinity War will be the largest movie ever made in Scotland, according to Scottish Labour culture spokesperson Lewis MacDonald, who added, “The fact such a successful franchise will be filmed in Scotland will excite the fans but also provide a welcome boost to the economy.”
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
