The seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise won’t begin filming in Atlanta, GA until September 9 but they are already looking for extras.

According to The Buzz, Fast and Furious 7 is looking for the following:

- Middle Eastern men with experience as mechanics, who are available Sept 13 and 16.

- People with military or police experience. If you were on the SWAT team, even better. Same dates as above.

- Hispanic men and women with medical experience. If you were a doctor or nurse and are available Sept. 11 and 12, that’s you.

- Hispanic men, women and children to play patients. Sounds like you need experience sitting there like you don’t feel so hot. You need to be available Sept. 11 and 12.

If you’re in the Atlanta area and are interested in being an extra, email your photos and info to Fast7Atl@gmail.com.

In addition to Atlanta, Fast and Furious 7 will also be filmed in the United Arab Emirates, Tokyo, and Colorado Springs.

In Coloardo, the North Slope Recreation Area and surrounding highway will be closed on Sept. 3-5 and Sept. 10 for filming. Film crews are expected to be on the mountain for a total of two weeks though there is no word if any of the cast will be there.

The UAE shoot was originally scheduled to take place in Egypt this year but, thanks to the UAE’s 30% rebate and unrest in Egypt, the shoot has been moved to the UAE.

Pikes Peak closures for filming tweaked

The days the Pikes Peak Highway will be partially or fully closed to visitors as Universal Pictures crews shoot a film on America’s Mountain have changed slightly, Colorado Springs officials said in a release.

The highway will be closed from Glen Cove to the summit Sept. 4 and 5 — reportedly for filming of the next installment of “The Fast and The Furious.”

It will be fully closed, including to the North Slope Recreation Area, Sept. 6 and 10, according to the Friday news release.

The director of the film requested the highway be closed to visitors while shooting because of several complex shots that involve a long setup time.

The highway will be open Labor Day weekend, and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway will operate during normal hours during the closures.
