The casting call also shows filming will start in April and go through August. Aside from cluing us in to specific dates of production, the call also states “most of the film takes place in 1973,” an interesting bit of information for fans chomping at the bit to see what direction Bryan Singer and company will take this sequel.

Though the casting call looks legit, there is no mention of the shoot on Casting Quarters’ website, yet.
DoFP will reunite cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy from 2011’s X-Men: First Class. Also reprieving their roles from the original X-Men trilogy are Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, and Anna Paquin.
It’s also been revealed the movie will feature the robots known as Sentinels. According to Mark Millar, “the Sentinels are a big feature of this story.” He went on to explain, “They will be cool and this will deliver on all of the teasers. We’ve all been waiting for this ever since X-Men: The Last Stand showed us one of their heads. Now it is finally coming.”
