This morning Judd Apatow appeared on The View, along with his wife, Leslie Mann, to promote their new film, This is 40, but he also (briefly) discussed the highly anticipated Anchorman sequel he’ll be producing next year.
“We’re going to shoot it in March and are very excited. I can’t give away any details…well, part of it [we'll shoot] here in New York,” Apatow told the ladies of The View.
Though Apatow refused to describe the plot, written by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, it’s apparently hilarious. “We read it a few weeks ago and people were laughing so hard that at about 40 minutes in we all just ran out of gas. It was hard to read the whole thing because we got tired [from laughing],” he said.
