Yesterday the first casting call looking for stand-ins for the movie London Calling hit the web. Of course, London Calling is the working title forĀ Spider-Man 2 which is expected to begin filming early next year.
The casting call is specifically looking for a stand-in for Shailene Woodley, who is set to star as Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming film.
The listing also confirms the movie will shoot from February – July, 2013. Though Grant Wilfley, a NYC-based casting company, is handling the casting call, they don’t specify where the film will be shot, just that the person chosen will need to be available for the duration of filming. So, those London rumors might be true after all.
Even if some scenes are shot in London, Spider-Man 2 is still expected to film in New York and L.A., where The Amazing Spider-Man was shot in 2011.
