USA Network will bring together a number of celebrities for “A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power – a Characters Unite Storytelling Event” in Los Angeles on February 15.
Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black will share a story from his own life at the event, while Oscar nominee Octavia Spencer will tell a 10-minute true tale about discrimination turned self-discovery.
Other special guests include Matt Bomer, Willie Garson, Corbin Bernsen, Bruce Campbell, Aimee Mullins and Greg Walloch.
Nathan Lane will be the evening’s host and John Legend is also set to perform.
Unfortunately, the event, which will be held at the Pacific Design Center, is invite-only.
“A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power – a Characters Unite Storytelling Event” is part of the USA Network’s Characters Unite campaign, which was created to help combat prejudice through live storytelling events and public service announcements. USA has also partnered with Moth, a nonprofit storytelling organization, for the event.
