The Walking Dead, which is currently on hiatus, will begin preparing to shoot their third season as early as next week.
The hit AMC series isn’t expected to begin filming again until May but, according to My Fox Atlanta, crews will begin building sets in Senoia, GA next week:
The cable show “The Walking Dead” is scheduled to shoot in the town in May. Construction of zombie sets will begin next week, which will involve 60 local carpenters.
People can expect to see the town a little dirtier than normal to fit the look of the show.

Hello!
My name is Chris Pezzano, I’m based out of Huntsville Alabama and I’m interested in applying for a zombie position for the television series, The Walking Dead. My friend Rodney Hall was in the series as well during the guts/rain scene. Season One, Episode Two, and has also had several roles in season 2 as well. My good friend Toby Sells did makeup for both seasons.
I’ve been involved in some Independent horror films such as the post apocalyptic zombie film, Post Mortum America 2021 starring Linnea Quigley. I was also in Razor Days, a cannibal film starring Debbie Rochon. The upcoming film I and Rodney Hall was involved in is Revelation Trail, which is a zombie Action/Western film. and lastly we are in Night of the Living Dead 2012, which has several others from TWD cast in it too, and we will resume filming in August. I do have other projects coming up here this year as well.
I will have new head shots taken here in the very near future as well….please let me know if you need them.

I’m a self taught zombie make up artist and my specialties are creating an undead look using a lot of Dick Smiths classic methods. The aforementioned movies above are just some of the films I’ve not only worked in but helped with make up as well.

Ghoultide Greetings! My name is Steve Chaney and i am from Metropolis, IL and would be very interested in a zombie spot on The Walking Dead. I absolutely love this series and actually having a role in it would be a dream come true for me. I have been looking to get into acting for 30+ years now and finally achieved that first role as a Featured Zombie in a film currently in production called Revelation Trail which will be a very good Western/Zombie film. I have loved zombie films and shows since i was knee high to a grasshopper. My son is a huge fan of the show and is interested in being a zombie when you begin filming in May/Summer 2012. Any appearance on the show would be great. He is really interested in Special effects.
