Virginia Madsen and Sherry Stringfield have arrived in Wilmington, NC to begin filming Hornet’s Nest, based on the novel of the same name by Patricia Cornwell.
The movie, which will debut next spring on TNT, is set in Charlotte and opens with a serial killer targeting out-of-town businessmen. Two local detectives make the case their top priority until one is paired up with cub reporter Brazil.
This week the movie is set to film at the StarNews Media newsroom on 17th Street through Friday, which will stand in for The Charlotte Observer.
