in Casting Calls, New York City

Thanks to our friends over at The Daily Blam, we’ve learned that The Amazing Spider-Man will return to New York City this month for re-shoots.

The film is expected to do some second unit shoots around the city, possible beginning as early as this week.

We did also find one casting call for the movie for 11/17 looking for extras with NYPD uniforms, which you can check out below:

FIONA’S TALE IS BACK AND WE ARE FILMING ON THURS 11/17. WE ARE LOOKING FOR MEN & WOMEN WITH THE NYPD UNI FOR POSS WORK ON 11/17. PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU ALREADY WORKED ON THE MOVIE AND WHAT YOU DID ON IT. NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS.

If you spot No Parking signs for Fiona’s Tale (the working title for The Amazing Spider-Man) in NYC let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!

The crew and trucks are down here at Bowling Green. Film signs are posted on Pearl Street and Whitehall. Just walked by on my way to work.

They are filming right now on 24th and Broadway. Huge cranes and spotlights and a stuntman with a spidey mask on swinging from the cranes.
