According to a recent contest posted on Time Warner’s Facebook page, the New York City Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will take place on Monday, July 11.

Though there hasn’t been any official announcement about the venue, past Potter premieres have been held at the Ziegfeld Theatre.
The entire cast is also expected to be in attendance, including Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint.
Stay tuned for more details about the NYC premiere and don’t forget that the U.K. premiere will be held on July 7 too!
UPDATE: The premiere will take place at the Avery Fisher Hall, Columbus Avenue at West 65th Street, New York NY. Celebrity arrivals will start at 5 p.m.

Part 1 was held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center…just another option.

Warner Bros has revealed more information about the New York City premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, set to take place at the Avery Fisher Hall on the upper west side of Manhattan beginning at 5:00pm EST.
The facebook site had a link but it was only open for 2 days and they were only giving away 80 passes.
I entered and was a lucky winner! I will be in NY on Monday to see it all. I can’t wait!

What I would really like to know is when fans are going to start showing up at Avery hall so that way I can get on a plane over there!!!

I know for a fact that James and Oliver Phelps and Evanna Lynch will NOT be in attendance for this premiere. (my source is their tweets they sent out not too long ago). They will be at the Dublin premiere, and Paris premiere, which clashes with this one.

Anybody have an idea around what time they’ll distribute the wristbands for red carpet? A friend of mine said part 1 was at 10am
it was easy to get tixx for this. and after party is at museum of natural history
