in New York City, On Location Photos

It looks like Transformers 3 only needed one day in New York City because they only filmed at one location.

Transformers 3 spent most of the day filming inside the U.N. in the same auditorium where the General Assembly is held. The General Assembly is the main deliberative, policymaking and representative organ of the United Nations in which all members of the UN are represented. Based on the set photos below, it appears a fictional version of the General Assembly will be featured in the film.

Our tipster, Ric, told us that Dame Judi Dench was featured in the scene too.

Check out a couple pictures from the U.N. today:

[Thanks Ric!]

Judi Dench wasn’t on the set. It was an extra that looked like Judi Dench.

thanks, I was skeptical, but the guy in the first picture looks really familiar to me, were there any stars on the set?

The guy in the first picture was probably the only kinda famous actor on the set, he was the only one with speaking parts. His name is Iqbal Theba, he also plays the school principal on Glee. Michael Bay was on set also.
