A new FX series begins filming in NYC this week.

Lights Out, a drama from Fox TV Studios and FX Productions, centers on an aging former heavyweight boxing champion who struggles to find his identity and support his wife and three daughters after his fighting days, leading him to accept reluctantly a job as an enforcer collecting debts. He is diagnosed with pugilistic dementia, a neurological disorder that affects boxers who receive multiple blows to the head, which gradually will lead to him losing all of his memories.

Lights Out, which stars Holt McCallany, Stacy Keach and Catherine McCormack, is set to film in NYC and New Jersey through July.

Looks great…the out of the ring and drama reminds me of “Johnny Bad Ass” by The Big Lefthook

Who was the beautiful blonde girl in the silver dress sitting at the auction? She should have a bigger role in the series.
