Several publications (including us) have been reporting that Dream House, a new thriller starring Daniel Craig, is filming in Toronto. Just yesterday we Tweeted, “Dream House w/ Daniel Craig filming at Union Station in Toronto”, with a link to photos on this website (which were clearly taken on the set of Dream House in Toronto as evidenced by the director’s chair and Go Transit signs visible in the photos).
Now, there are several websites, including the NY Post, Just Jared (who we called out yesterday) and Celebrity-Gossip.net who have posted set pictures of Daniel Craig taken Sunday and they’re claiming the photos was taken in Tampa, FL.
Of course, its possible that the movie shot in Tampa over the weekend and was back in Toronto by Monday (or they could have two units shooting), but that still doesn’t explain why Craig is wearing such a heavy coat. Yes, it could be part of a costume, but then why would the crew have on coats too. It gets chilly in Tampa, but on Sunday the temperature was in the mid-60’s, not exactly winter coat weather.
From what we can tell either Craig is collecting plenty of frequent flyer miles with trips between Toronto and Tampa, or there’s a photo editor somewhere who was too busy watching the game on Sunday to double check his info before publishing. We’re curious either way. If anyone can explain the Tampa/Toronto confusion, we’d love to hear it, please let us know in a comment below.

Update: Just Jared emailed us yesterday to let us know that Daniel Craig is filming in Toronto, NOT Tampa. They also updated their post. Thanks to JJ and everyone who left comments/sent us emails to confirm Dream House is in Toronto!

He is in TORONTO!!! I was in the area of the filming set on the weekend. I watched him arrive on set and leave the set on Sunday *when the pictures were first posted* and i can say he is in Toronto. Not Tampa

They’re filming in Toronto because they are a couple houses down from me as we speak. Not sure if Daniel Craig is there though.

Sorry, clicked out too fast. They said they were starting filming today Thursday. have not been able to walk over the check. It is a great set. They were spraying fake snow over all the trees they brought in yesterday.
